Randy Dunlap 603bdf5d6c kernel-doc: support DECLARE_PHY_INTERFACE_MASK()
Support the DECLARE_PHY_INTERFACE_MASK() macro that is used to declare
a bitmap by converting the macro to DECLARE_BITMAP(), as has been done
for the __ETHTOOL_DECLARE_LINK_MODE_MASK() macro.

This fixes a 'make htmldocs' warning:

include/linux/phylink.h:82: warning: Function parameter or member 'DECLARE_PHY_INTERFACE_MASK(supported_interfaces' not described in 'phylink_config'

that was introduced by commit
38c310eb46 ("net: phylink: add MAC phy_interface_t bitmap")

Thorsten Leemhuis 1f57bd42b7 docs: submitting-patches: make section about the Link: tag more explicit
Mention the 'Link' tag in the section about adding URLs to the commit
msg, to make it clearer they "_primarily_ [...] should be about
background", as Linus recently stated (see the link below). That makes
the explanation also easier to find with a text search. For the same
reason and to improve comprehensibility provide an example, too.

Slightly improve the text at the same time to make it more obvious
developers are meant to add links to issue reports in mailing list
archives, as those allow regression tracking efforts to automatically
check which bugs got resolved.

Move the section also downwards slightly, to reduce jumping back and
forth between aspects relevant for the top and the bottom part of the
commit msg.

Len Baker 3577cdb23b docs: deprecated.rst: Clarify open-coded arithmetic with literals
Although using literals for size calculation in allocator arguments may
be harmless due to compiler warnings in case of overflows, it is better
to refactor the code to avoid the use of open-coded arithmetic.

So, clarify the preferred way in these cases.

Mauro Carvalho Chehab 14efb275d4 scripts: documentation-file-ref-check: ignore hidden files
There's a warning there from a .gitignore file:

	tools/perf/.gitignore: Documentation/doc.dep

This is not really a cross-reference type of warning, so
no need to report it.

In a matter of fact, it doesn't make sense at all to even
parse hidden files, as some text editors may create such
files for their own usage.

So, just ignore everything that matches this pattern:

Akira Yokosawa aa872e0647 docs: pdfdocs: Adjust \headheight for fancyhdr
Fancyhdr prior to v4.0 outputs a message per document as follows:

Package Fancyhdr Warning: \headheight is too small (12.0pt):
    Make it at least 13.59999pt.
We now make it that large for the rest of the document.
This may cause the page layout to be inconsistent, however.

Fancyhdr v4.0 complains (once a page!) as follows:

Package fancyhdr Warning: \headheight is too small (12.0pt):
(fancyhdr) Make it at least 13.59999pt, for example:
    (fancyhdr) \setlength{\headheight}{13.59999pt}.
(fancyhdr) You might also make \topmargin smaller to compensate:

    (fancyhdr) \addtolength{\topmargin}{-1.59999pt}.

Related item in fancyhdr v4.0 announcement on 2021-01-04 [1]:

    Backward incompatible changes:
      - Eliminate adjustments of \headheight or \footskip, when the
header or footer is too high.

Change all links from using the lkml redirector to the lore redirector,
as the kernel.org admin recently indicated: we shouldn't be using
lkml.kernel.org anymore because the domain can create confusion, as it
indicates it is only valid for messages sent to the LKML; the convention
has been to use https://lore.kernel.org/r/msgid for this reason.

In this process also change three links from using http to https.
