Dan Carpenter 990a9d4975 net/ncsi: prevent a couple array underflows
We recently refactored this code and introduced a static checker
warning. Smatch complains that if cmd->index is zero then we would
underflow the arrays. That's obviously true.

The question is whether we prevent cmd->index from being zero at a
different level. I've looked at the code and I don't immediately see
a check for that.

Dan Carpenter 2b6207291b drm/dumb-buffers: Integer overflow in drm_mode_create_ioctl()
There is a comment here which says that DIV_ROUND_UP() and that's where
the problem comes from. Say you pick:

	args->bpp = UINT_MAX - 7;
	args->width = 4;
	args->height = 1;

The integer overflow in DIV_ROUND_UP() means "cpp" is UINT_MAX / 8 and
because of how we picked args->width that means cpp < UINT_MAX / 4.

I've fixed it by preventing the integer overflow in DIV_ROUND_UP(). I
removed the check for !cpp because it's not possible after this change.
I also changed all the 0xffffffffU references to U32_MAX.

Dan Carpenter 4a9fbfcab1 drm/omap: silence unititialized variable warning
Smatch complains that "area_free" could be used without being
initialized. This code is several years old and premusably works fine
so this can't be a very serious bug. But it's easy enough to silence
the warning. If "area_free" is false at the end of the function then
we return -ENOMEM.

Dan Carpenter 350fcdb834 rsi: remove unecessary PTR_ALIGN()s
The issue here is that we allocate "data" and then set
"data = PTR_ALIGN(data, 8);" and then we free the aligned pointer
instead of the original pointer.

kmalloc() pointers are already ARCH_SLAB_MINALIGN aligned which is 8 or
more on everything except certain Xtensa variants. We decided that if
the Xtensa people ever notice a bug here then we'll tell them the bug is
on their side.  ;)

This cast is wrong. "cdi->capacity" is an int and "arg" is an unsigned

    drivers/staging/rts5208/ms.c:2607 ms_build_l2p_tbl()

The problem is that we memset "ms_card" to zero at the start of the
reset_ms_card() function. That means that when we try to calculate
"ms_card->total_block / 512 - 1" then it's just always -1.  The fix is
to calculate "seg_no" before doing the memset().

The story is that Smatch marks skb->data as untrusted so it generates
a warning message here:

    drivers/infiniband/hw/cxgb4/cm.c:4100 process_work()
    error: buffer overflow 'work_handlers' 241 <= 255

In other places which handle this such as t4_uld_rx_handler() there is
some checking to make sure that the function pointer is not NULL. I
have added bounds checking and a check for NULL here as well.

The code is harmless, but the checker is right that we should swap these
two conditions so we verify that the offset is within bounds before we
