It's not good to crash the machine if panic_on_warn() is set just
because someone made a stupid mistake of trying to create a sysfs file
with the same name of an existing one. This makes the automated testing
tools a lot harder to find the real bugs in the kernel.
So just print a warning out and dump the stack to get the attention of
the developer that they did something foolish. Then keep on trucking,
as this should not be a fatal error at all.

Update extcon for 4.16
Detailed description for this pull request:
1. Add support to notify USB connector for "ChromeOS Embedded Controller".
- extcon-usbc-cros-ec driver detects the EXTCON_USB and EXTCON_USB_HOST
connector type and then notify the state/properties to the consumer device.
2. Update the detection on probe time and clean-up code for "X-Power AXP288".
- Detect the state of connector after a couple of seconds after probe()
becasue extcon-axp288.c driver depends on other device driver like mux.
In order to guarantee the correct state, the extcon-axp288.c uses the
delayed_work.
- Set EXTCON_CHG_USB_SDP type as the safe default type if unknown connector
is attached because the data sheet of axp288 doesn't handle
the all exception cases.
- Remove unused code
3. Fix the minor issue of extcon driver
- Fix platform get_irq's error checking for extcon-adc-jack.
- Delete unneeded initialization for extcon-max8997/max77693.

Not many changes here, the most important being an improvement for TI's

workaround in situations where we know what's going on.
Other than that, we have a set of changes on Renesas UDC to make the
code a little easier to read and maintain while also better supporting
extcon framework.
The u_serial adaptation layer learned to use kfifo instead of cooking
its own FIFO implementation.
DWC3 learned to decode a few more USB requests on the trace output.

USB-serial fixes for v4.15-rc6
Here are some new device ids for ftdi_sio, option and qcserial.
Note that the qcserial patch enables the SetControlLineState request
(used to raise DTR/RTS) for the GPS interface of all devices using the
Sierra Wireless layout. This was required for the Sierra Wireless EM7565
and has been tested using several other modems as well.
All but the final commit have been in linux-next without any reported
issues.

usb: fixes for v4.15-rc4
We have a few fixes on dwc3:
- one fix which only happens with some implementations where we need to
wait longer for some commands to finish.
- Another fix for high-bandwidth isochronous endpoint programming making
sure that we send the correct DATA tokens in the correct sequence
- A couple PM fixes on dwc3-of-simple
The other synopsys controller driver (dwc2) got a fix for FIFO size
programming.
Other than these, we have a couple Kconfig fixes making sure that
dependencies are properly setup.
Now that the SPDX tag is in all driver core files, that identifies the
license in a specific and legally-defined manner. So the extra GPL text
wording can be removed as it is no longer needed at all.
This is done on a quest to remove the 700+ different ways that files in
the kernel describe the GPL license text. And there's unneeded stuff
like the address (sometimes incorrect) for the FSF which is never
needed.
No copyright headers or other non-license-description text was removed.

arch_topology.c had a SPDX tag in it, so move it to the top of the file
like the rest of the kernel files have it.
Also remove the redundant license text as it is not needed if the SPDX
tag is in the file, as the tag identifies the license in a specific and
legally-defined manner.

It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to
audit the kernel tree for correct licenses.
Update the driver core files files with the correct SPDX license
identifier based on the license text in the file itself. The SPDX
identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used instead of
the full boiler plate text.
This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe
Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart.

There is no need to #define the license of the driver, just put it in
the MODULE_LICENSE() line directly as a text string.
This allows tools that check that the module license matches the source
code license to work properly, as there is no need to unwind the
unneeded dereference, especially when the string is defined in a .h file
far away from the .c file it is used in.

First set of new device support, cleanups and features for IIO in the 4.16 cycle
New device support
* IDT Z0PT2201 ambient light and UVB sensor
- new driver and DT bindings.
* MAX30102 (pulse oximetery sensor)
- support for MAX30105 sensor (smoke detector) Just goes to show
how two supposedly totally different applications can use very similar
devices.
* UVIS25 UV sensor
- new driver and DT bindings.
Major new features
* at91-sama5d2-adc
- DMA support including bindings + a fix for an issue with acking the
interrupt to prevent false overrun reports.
* ina2xx
- allow control of shunt voltage PGA and bus voltage range to give better
accuracy in some cases.
* stm32-adc
- support differential channels (precursor patch reworked how channel names
were created to enable this).
Cleanups / minor fixes / features
* core
- mark a deliberate switch fallthrough.
- macro to populate struct iio_map array elements.
* docs
- typo fix.
* MAINTAINERS
- add some missing entries for IIO ABI files.
* ad7152
- tidy up unlocking paths.
* ad7746
- tidy up unlocking paths.
* ak8975

- platform_get_irq return value fixing.
* bmc150
- OF device ID table for i2c (spi to be done).
* cros_ec
- unused variable cleanup.
* da208
- ACPI binding seen on Linx 820 tablet.
* ina2xx
- shift down raw value to drop status flags from value (likely to have
been hidden in the noise).
- tidy up a special case that wasn't needed.
* inv_mpu6050
- i2c_unregister_device knows about null values so don't check it twice.
* kxsd9
- fix missing MODULE_LICENSE and MODULE_DESCRIPTION.
* max30102

- inconsistent punctuation in error messages.
- fix LED mode mask number of bits.
- check return value of power mode functions to handle errors.
- introduce an intensity channel macro to reduce duplication.
- fix minor issue where device wasn't necessarily enabled during
a get temperature.
- use indicies for LED channels.
- move the mode seetting to buffer_postenable - precursor to new device
support.
- prepare to allow copying of varying numbers of measurement.
* meson-saradc
