If we're tuning on a big-endian CPU we'll never determine we properly
tuned the device because we compare the data we received from the
controller with a table that assumes the CPU is little-endian.
Change the table to be an array of bytes instead of 32-bit words
so we can use memcmp() without needing to byte-swap every word
depending on the endianess of the CPU.

We don't really need to get the platform irq again when we're
enabling or disabling the per-cpu irq. Furthermore, we don't
really need to set and clear bits in the active_irqs bitmask
because that's only used in the non-percpu irq case to figure out
when the last CPU PMU has been disabled. Just pass the irq
directly to the enable/disable functions to clean all this up.
This should be slightly more efficient and also fix the

Frank reports that after continuing in kgdb the RX stale event
doesn't occur until after the RX fifo is filled up with exactly
the amount of characters programmed for the RX watermark (in this
case it's 48). To read a single character from the uartdm
hardware we force a stale event so that any characters in the RX
packing buffer are flushed into the RX fifo immediately instead
of waiting for a stale timeout or for the fifo to fill. Forcing
that stale event asserts the stale interrupt but we never clear
that interrupt via UART_CR_CMD_RESET_STALE_INT in the polling
functions. So when kgdb continues the stale interrupt is left
pending in the hardware and we don't timeout with a stale event,
like we usually would if a user typed one character on the
console, until the reset stale interrupt and stale event commands
are sent. Frank could get things working again by running
handle_rx_dm(). By putting enough characters into the fifo he
could trigger a watermark interrupt, and thus cause
handle_rx_dm() to run finally resetting the stale interrupt
and enabling the stale event so that single characters would
cause timeouts again.
The fix is to just do what the interrupt routine was doing all
along and clear the stale interrupt and enable the event again.
Doing this also smooths over any differences in the fifo behavior
between v1.3 and v1.4 hardware allowing us to skip forcing the
uart into single character mode.

During suspend we call sched_clock_poll() to update the epoch and
accumulated time and reprogram the sched_clock_timer to fire
before the next wrap-around time. Unfortunately,
sched_clock_poll() doesn't restart the timer, instead it relies
on the hrtimer layer to do that and during suspend we aren't
calling that function from the hrtimer layer. Instead, we're
reprogramming the expires time while the hrtimer is enqueued,
which can cause the hrtimer tree to be corrupted. Furthermore, we
restart the timer during suspend but we update the epoch during
resume which seems counter-intuitive.
Let's fix this by saving the accumulated state and canceling the
timer during suspend. On resume we can update the epoch and
restart the timer similar to what we would do if we were starting
the clock for the first time.

Sometimes we need to program PLLs with a fixed rate
configuration during driver probe. Doing this after we register
the PLLs with the clock framework causes the common clock
framework to assume the rate of the PLLs are 0. This causes all
sorts of problems for rate recalculations because the common
clock framework caches the rate once at registration time unless
a flag is set to always recalculate the rates.
Split the qcom_cc_probe() function into two pieces, map and
everything else, so that drivers which need to configure some
PLL rates or otherwise twiddle bits in the clock controller can
do so before registering clocks. This allows us to properly
detect the rates of PLLs that are programmed at boot.

Clocks that don't have a pre-divider don't list any pre-divider
in their frequency tables, but their tables are initialized using
aggregate initializers. Use tagged initializers so we properly
assign the m and n values for each frequency. Furthermore, the
mmcc_pxo_pll8_pll2_pll3 array improperly mapped the second
element to pll2 instead of pll8, causing the clock driver to
recalculate the wrong rate for any clocks using this array along
with a rate that uses pll2. Plus the .num_parents field is 3
instead of 4 so you can't even switch the parent to pll3. Finally
I noticed that the jpegd clock improperly indicates that the
pre-divider width is only 2, when it's actually 4 bits wide.

The pm8xxx-irq.c code is practically mandatory given that the
pm8921-core driver will WARN about it missing and the Kconfig
marks it as default y when a PM8xxx chips is enabled. The only
reason the file was split out was because we planned to support
other pm8xxx chips with different pm8xxx-core.c files. Now that
we have DT on ARM this isn't necessary because we should be able
to support all the ssbi based PM8xxx chips in one driver and one
file with no data bloat. Let's move this code into the only
driver that uses it right now (pm8921) so that it's always compiled when
needed. In the future we can rename pm8921-core.c to something
more generic.

Krait supports a set of performance monitor region event
selection registers (PMRESR) sitting behind a cp15 based
interface that extend the architected PMU events to include Krait
CPU and Venum VFP specific events. To use these events the user
is expected to program the region register (PMRESRn) with the
event code shifted into the group they care about and then point
the PMNx event at that region+group combo by writing a
PMRESRn_GROUPx event. Add support for this hardware.
Note: the raw event number is a pure software construct that
allows us to map the multi-dimensional number space of regions,
groups, and event codes into a flat event number space suitable
for use by the perf framework.
This is based on code originally written by Ashwin Chaugule and
Neil Leeder [1].

On Krait processors we have a many-to-one relationship between
raw CPU events and the event programmed into the PMNx counter.
Two raw CPU events could map to the same value programmed in the
PMNx counter. To avoid this problem, we check for collisions
during the get_event_idx() callback by setting a bit in a bitmap
whenever a certain event is used in a PMNx counter (see the next
patch). Unfortunately, we don't have a hook to clear this bit in
the bitmap when the event is deleted so let's add an optional
clear_event_idx() callback for this purpose.
