Pull perf/core improvements and fixes from Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo:
- Be consistent when checking if a perf_mmap instance had
its ring buffer unmmaped, fixing segfaults noticed in
'perf trace' (Kan Liang, Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Avoid adding the same option multiple times to the 'diff'
command in check-headers.sh (Jiri Olsa)

Pull perf/core improvements and fixes from Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo:
- Move non-TUI specific annotation routines out of the TUI browser so
that it can be used in other UIs, and to demonstrate that introduce
a 'perf annotate --stdio2' option that will apply those formatting
routines to provide a non-interactive annotation mode (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Add 'P' hotkey to the annotation TUI, so dump the current annotated
symbol to a file, easing report thru e-mail, by getting rid of the
spaces + right hand side scrollbar chars (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Support --ignore-vmlinux to 'perf report' and 'perf annotate', that
was already present in 'perf top', to use /proc/{kcore,kallsyms},
allowing to see what is in fact running (patched stuff, alternatives,
ftrace, etc), not the initial state of the kernel (vmlinux) (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Support 'jump' instructions to a different function, treating them
as 'call' instructions (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Fix some jump artifacts when using vmlinux + ASM functions, where
the ELF symtab for instance, for entry_SYSCALL_64 includes that and
what comes after the 'syscall_return_via_sysret' label, but the
objdump -dS prints the jump targets + offsets using the
syscall_return_via_sysret address, which was confusing 'perf annotate'.

- Document 'perf top --ignore-vmlinux' (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Fix out of bounds access on array fd when cnt is 100 in one of the
'perf test' entries, detected using 'cpptest' (Colin Ian King)

for a group of events not really grouped when scheduled (without using
{} to enclose the list of events in the command line) in pipe mode,
e.g.:

When recently using 'perf report --stat' it was not clear to me from the
output whether a particular statistics field (LOST_SAMPLES) was not
present, or just zero:
fomalhaut:~> perf report --stat
Aggregated stats:
TOTAL events: 495984
MMAP events: 85
COMM events: 3389
EXIT events: 1605
THROTTLE events: 2

SAMPLE events: 472629
MMAP2 events: 14753
FINISHED_ROUND events: 139
THREAD_MAP events: 1
CPU_MAP events: 1
TIME_CONV events: 1
I had to check the output several times to ascertain that I'm not
misreading the output, that the field didn't change and that I didn't
misremember the name. In fact I had to look into the perf source to make
sure that zero fields are indeed not shown.
With the patch applied:
fomalhaut:~> perf report --stat
Aggregated stats:
TOTAL events: 495984
MMAP events: 85
LOST events: 0
COMM events: 3389
EXIT events: 1605

STAT_ROUND events: 0

It's pretty clear at a glance that LOST_SAMPLES is present but zero.
The original output can still be gotten via:
fomalhaut:~> perf report --stat | grep -vw 0
Aggregated stats:
TOTAL events: 495984
MMAP events: 85
COMM events: 3389
EXIT events: 1605

MMAP2 events: 14753
FINISHED_ROUND events: 139

Do the following cleanups and simplifications:
- sched/sched.h already includes <asm/paravirt.h>, so no need to
include it in sched/core.c again.
- order the <linux/sched/*.h> headers alphabetically
- add all <linux/sched/*.h> headers to kernel/sched/sched.h
- remove all unnecessary includes from the .c files that
are already included in kernel/sched/sched.h.
Finally, make all scheduler .c files use a single common header:
#include "sched.h"
... which now contains a union of the relied upon headers.
This makes the various .c files easier to read and easier to handle.

Josh Poimboeuf noticed the following bug:
"The paranoid exit code only restores the saved CR3 when it switches back
to the user GS. However, even in the kernel GS case, it's possible that
it needs to restore a user CR3, if for example, the paranoid exception
occurred in the syscall exit path between SWITCH_TO_USER_CR3_STACK and
SWAPGS."
Josh also confirmed via targeted testing that it's possible to hit this bug.
Fix the bug by also restoring CR3 in the paranoid_exit_no_swapgs branch.
The reason we haven't seen this bug reported by users yet is probably because
"paranoid" entry points are limited to the following cases:
idtentry double_fault do_double_fault has_error_code=1 paranoid=2
idtentry debug do_debug has_error_code=0 paranoid=1 shift_ist=DEBUG_STACK
idtentry int3 do_int3 has_error_code=0 paranoid=1 shift_ist=DEBUG_STACK
idtentry machine_check do_mce has_error_code=0 paranoid=1
Amongst those entry points only machine_check is one that will interrupt an
IRQS-off critical section asynchronously - and machine check events are rare.
The other main asynchronous entries are NMI entries, which can be very high-freq
with perf profiling, but they are special: they don't use the 'idtentry' macro but
are open coded and restore user CR3 unconditionally so don't have this bug.

Pull perf/core improvements and fixes from Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo:
- The 'perf test bpf' entry hooked a eBPF proggie to the
SyS_epoll_wait() kernel function and expected it to be hit when calling
the epoll_wait() libc wrapper, which changed recently, in systems such
as Fedora 27, with the glibc wrapper calling instead the epoll_pwait()
syscall, so switch to epoll_pwait() for both the kernel and libc
function, getting it to work both in old and new systems (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Beautify 'gettid' syscall result in 'perf trace', and in doing so
noticed that we need to handle namespaces in 'perf trace', will be
dealt with in follow up patches where we'll try to figure out if
the recent support for namespace in tools/perf/ can be used for this
purpose as well. (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Introduce 'perf report --mmaps' and 'perf report --tasks' to show
info present in 'perf.data' (Jiri Olsa, Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Synchronize kernel <-> tooling headers wrt meltdown/spectre changes
(Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
- Fix a wrong offset issue when using /proc/kcore (Jin Yao)
- Fix bug that prevented annotating symbols in perf.data files
generated with 'perf record --branch-any' (Jin Yao)
- Add infrastructure to record first and last sample time to the
perf.data file header, so that when processing all samples in
a 'perf record' session, such as when doing build-id processing,
or when specifically requesting that that info be recorded, use
that in 'perf report --time', that also got support for percent
slices in addition to absolute ones.
I.e. now it is possible to ask for the samples in the 10%-20%
time slice of a perf.data file (Jin Yao)
- Enable building with libbabeltrace by default (Jiri Olsa)
- Display perf_event_attr::namespaces when duping the attributes
in verbose mode (Jiri Olsa)
- Allocate context task_ctx_data for child event (Jiri Olsa)
- Update comments for PERF_RECORD_ITRACE_START and PERF_RECORD_MISC_* (Jiri Olsa)
- Add support for showing PERF_RECORD_LOST events in 'perf script' (Jiri Olsa)
- Add 'perf report --stats' option to display quick statistics about
metadata events (PERF_RECORD_*) i.e. what we get at the end of 'perf

This code (CONFIG_LOCKDEP_CROSSRELEASE=y and CONFIG_LOCKDEP_COMPLETIONS=y),
while it found a number of old bugs initially, was also causing too many
false positives that caused people to disable lockdep - which is arguably
a worse overall outcome.
If we disable cross-release by default but keep the code upstream then
in practice the most likely outcome is that we'll allow the situation
to degrade gradually, by allowing entropy to introduce more and more
false positives, until it overwhelms maintenance capacity.
Another bad side effect was that people were trying to work around
the false positives by uglifying/complicating unrelated code. There's
a marked difference between annotating locking operations and
uglifying good code just due to bad lock debugging code ...
This gradual decrease in quality happened to a number of debugging
facilities in the kernel, and lockdep is pretty complex already,
so we cannot risk this outcome.
Either cross-release checking can be done right with no false positives,
or it should not be included in the upstream kernel.
( Note that it might make sense to maintain it out of tree and go through
the false positives every now and then and see whether new bugs were
introduced. )

Pull perf/core improvements and fixes from Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo:
- Optimize sample parsing for ordering events, where we don't need to parse

- Use a dummy event to ask for PERF_RECORD_{MMAP,COMM,EXEC} with

enabled after the workload is started and the requested delay passes,
so we need to add the dummy event and have it .enabled_on_exec. This

while we wait for the delay (Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo)
