Those caused notices in the server log, and we removed the postgres
module, so pg_close() is even undefined.

Clemens LangandRainer Müller dfd296a87c Drop ports.php, remove database connectivity 
The benefits of not having to provide connectivity to PostgreSQL for PHP
outweigh the downsides of not having two rather meaningless numbers
disabled on our home page.

ports.php was replaced by the webapp a while ago anyway.

portsdb_connect did nothing with the given username and password (in
fact, it didn't take a parameter at all). Also it didn't just connect
but gathered information.
