[Radio static, song fades out]
Vault Girl: Good morning, Vault dwellers and surface survivors! This is Vault Girl, coming to you live from somewhere safe, sound, and only slightly radioactive. Today on “Wild Wasteland Wonders,” were joined by a real legend—straight from the sunbaked sands of California, its Ranger Rick of the Desert Rangers! Welcome, Rick!
Ranger Rick: Thanks, Vault Girl. Always a pleasure to be somewhere the coffee isnt made from Brahmin droppings.
Vault Girl: We do our best! So, Rick, rumor has it you once talked your way out of a Deathclaw nest with nothing but a smolder and a half-eaten Fancy Lad Snack Cake. True?
Ranger Rick: Well, I wouldnt say “talked” so much as “distracted while running.” Turns out Deathclaws love snack cakes. Who knew?
Vault Girl: The more you know! Now, youve wandered from the Mojave all the way to the Capital Wasteland. Seen anything… uniquely wild lately?
Ranger Rick: Oh, plenty. Just last week, I helped a settlement in New Reno fend off a pack of rad-roaches the size of molerats. Turns out, they were after a stash of pre-war hair gel. Shiniest roaches I ever did see.
Vault Girl: Fashionable and ferocious! And I hear youve got a knack for getting in and out of trouble, is that true?
Ranger Rick: Lets just say, if theres a wrong turn to take, Ill find it. But hey, its not an adventure unless you accidentally set off a car alarm in a Super Mutant camp.
Vault Girl: Words to live by! Any advice for our listeners braving the wastes?
Ranger Rick: Keep your revolver clean, your friends close, and never trust a smiling Mister Handy with a paintbrush.
Vault Girl: Wise words from a true Ranger. Thanks for joining us, Rick! Stay safe out there—and remember, folks, if you see a man in a duster with a winning grin followed by a trail of chaos, say hi to him for me.
[song fades in]
Vault Girl: This is Vault Girl, signing off—may your water be pure and your adventures wild!

[Radio static, song fades out]
Vault Girl: Hello again, all you vault dwellers, scavvers, and super mutants with a taste for culture! Its Vault Girl, back with “Wild Wasteland Wonders.” Today, Ranger Rick returns with another tale from the radioactive road. Welcome back, Rick!
Ranger Rick: Thanks, Vault Girl. Glad to be here and not being chased by giant ants for once.
Vault Girl: Speaking of, I heard you had a run-in with some unusual wildlife out near The Pitt. Care to share?
Ranger Rick: Oh, you mean the time I stumbled into a herd of Brahmin… square dancing? I thought the heat was getting to me, but nope—turns out, some old-world radio was still playing in a collapsed barn, and those Brahmin had rhythm.
Vault Girl: Only in the wasteland! Did you join in?
Ranger Rick: I tried, but I only got two left feet. The Brahmin were better dancers than most the folks I know.
Vault Girl: Thats a sight Id pay caps to see! Any other oddities on your travels?
Ranger Rick: Well, there was the time I traded a can of Cram for directions from a talking Mr. Gutsy. He insisted I salute every mailbox I passed. Still not sure if it was a prank or just old programming.
Vault Girl: The mail must go through! Any advice for listeners who find themselves in a square-dancing stampede?
Ranger Rick: Keep your wits sharp, your boots laced, and if you hear music in the ruins—maybe sit that one out.
Vault Girl: Wise as ever, Rick. Thanks for sharing another wild wasteland wonder! This is Vault Girl, reminding you: keep your Geiger counter handy, and your sense of humor closer.
[song fades in]
Vault Girl: Until next time, stay safe and stay curious!
