Since commit95573cac25("kconfig: cache expression values"), xconfig emits a lot of false-positive "unmet direct dependencies" warnings. While conf_read() clears val_is_valid flags, 'make xconfig' calculates symbol values even before the conf_read() call. This is another issue that should be addressed separately, but it has revealed that the val_is_valid field is not initialized. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
