Since snprintf() has the documented, but still rather strange trait of returning the length of the data that *would have been* written to the array if space were available, rather than the arguably more useful length of data *actually* written, it is usually considered wise to use something else instead in order to avoid confusion. In the case of sysfs call-backs, new wrappers exist that do just that. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
