[ Upstream commit91d5c5060e] Here is the BUG report by KASAN about null pointer dereference: BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in strcmp+0x2e/0x50 Read of size 1 at addr 0000000000000000 by task python3/2640 Call Trace: strcmp __of_find_property of_find_property pinctrl_dt_to_map kasprintf() would return NULL pointer when kmalloc() fail to allocate. So directly return ENOMEM, if kasprintf() return NULL pointer. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
