commit 45cf976008ddef4a9c9a30310c9b4fb2a9a6602a upstream. Commita70f9fe52d("xfs: detect and handle invalid iclog size set by mkfs") added a fixup for incorrect h_size values used for the initial umount record in old xfsprogs versions. Later commit0c771b99d6("xfs: clean up calculation of LR header blocks") cleaned up the log reover buffer calculation, but stoped using the fixed up h_size value to size the log recovery buffer, which can lead to an out of bounds access when the incorrect h_size does not come from the old mkfs tool, but a fuzzer. Fix this by open coding xlog_logrec_hblks and taking the fixed h_size into account for this calculation. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
