[ Upstream commit c748a6d77c06a78651030e17da6beb278a1c9470 ] In order to introduce a pwm api which can be used from atomic context, we will need two functions for applying pwm changes: int pwm_apply_might_sleep(struct pwm *, struct pwm_state *); int pwm_apply_atomic(struct pwm *, struct pwm_state *); This commit just deals with renaming pwm_apply_state(), a following commit will introduce the pwm_apply_atomic() function. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
