[ Upstream commit 1e1fd567d32fcf7544c6e09e0e5bc6c650da6e23 ] This commit changes device mapper, so that it returns -ERESTARTSYS instead of -EINTR when it is interrupted by a signal (so that the ioctl can be restarted). The manpage signal(7) says that the ioctl function should be restarted if the signal was handled with SA_RESTART. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
