We need to test FailFast flag for replacement device here since the set up for writing is for the replacement, so we need fix it like: - if (test_bit(FailFast, &conf->mirrors[d].rdev->flags)) + if (test_bit(FailFast, &conf->mirrors[d].replacement->flags)) Since commitf90145f317("md/raid10: add rcu protection to rdev access in raid10_sync_request.") had added the rcu protection for the part, so let's extend the range protected by rcu and use rdev directly. Fixes:1919cbb("md/raid10: add failfast handling for writes.") Reviewed-by: NeilBrown <neilb@suse.com> Signed-off-by: Guoqing Jiang <gqjiang@suse.com> Signed-off-by: Shaohua Li <shli@fb.com>

Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
