We sometimes end up propagating IO blocking through mutexes; however, because there currently is no way of annotating mutex sleeps as iowait, there are cases where iowait and /proc/stat:procs_blocked report misleading numbers obscuring the actual state of the system. This patch adds mutex_lock_io() so that mutex sleeps can be marked as iowait in those cases. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
