Florin Malita 6f25891073 [PATCH] nmclan_cs: dereferencing skb after netif_rx()
From: Florin Malita <fmalita@gmail.com>

The skb may be gone after netif_rx(), we can't use 'skb->len' to update the
stats.  'pkt_len' should work instead.

Coverity CID: 911.

OGAWA Hirofumi 9b41046cd0 [PATCH] Don't pass boot parameters to argv_init[]
The boot cmdline is parsed in parse_early_param() and
parse_args(,unknown_bootoption).

And __setup() is used in obsolete_checksetup().

	start_kernel()
		-> parse_args()
			-> unknown_bootoption()
				-> obsolete_checksetup()

If __setup()'s callback (->setup_func()) returns 1 in
obsolete_checksetup(), obsolete_checksetup() thinks a parameter was
handled.

If ->setup_func() returns 0, obsolete_checksetup() tries other
->setup_func(). If all ->setup_func() that matched a parameter returns 0,
a parameter is seted to argv_init[].

Then, when runing /sbin/init or init=app, argv_init[] is passed to the app.
If the app doesn't ignore those arguments, it will warning and exit.

This patch fixes a wrong usage of it, however fixes obvious one only.

Dominik Brodowski 9940ec3617 [PATCH] pcmcia: convert DEV_OK to pcmcia_dev_present

Dominik Brodowski e2d4096365 [PATCH] pcmcia: use bitfield instead of p_state and state
Instead of the two status values struct pcmcia_device->p_state and state,
use descriptive bitfields. Most value-checking in drivers was invalid, as
the core now only calls the ->remove() (a.k.a. detach) function in case the
attachement _and_ configuration was successful.

Dominik Brodowski 15b99ac172 [PATCH] pcmcia: add return value to _config() functions
Most of the driver initialization isn't done in the .probe function, but in
the internal _config() functions. Make them return a value, so that .probe
can properly report whether the probing of the device succeeded or not.

Dominik Brodowski fd238232cd [PATCH] pcmcia: embed dev_link_t into struct pcmcia_device
Embed dev_link_t into struct pcmcia_device(), as they basically address the
same entity. The actual contents of dev_link_t will be cleaned up step by step.
This patch includes a bugfix from and signed-off-by Andrew Morton.

Dominik Brodowski 70294b4683 [PATCH] pcmcia: remove unneeded Vcc pseudo setting
As we do not allow setting Vcc in the pcmcia core, and Vpp1 and

streamlined.

of pcmcia_release_configuration() are within the pcmcia core
module.

Dominik Brodowski 5f2a71fcb7 [PATCH] pcmcia: add pcmcia_disable_device

pcmcia_release_* functions, and can replace (most) of the current drivers'
_release() functions.

Jesse Allen 2fe22a8bba [PATCH] pcmcia: add id for AMB8110 PC Card
The axnet_cs driver can support the AMB8110 PC Card, so add the id for it.

In the old pcmcia-cs config file, this card is listed with the comment "not
specific enough". The last entry in the axnet_ids has the same comment.
They are disabled, and for good reason as it was originally identified by
the MANFID, and that is shared with several cards that use both the
pcnet_cs driver and axnet_cs driver.  I tried my AMB8110 with pcnet_cs, and
found that it works fine, and I cannot find a reason for either, except
that the old config file recommended axnet_cs.
