e80ccc6058 Bug 802366 - The main event: Let a browser process inherit its app's id. r=bz,cjones 
The main bug fixed here is that in half of our interfaces, we use "is browser frame/element" to mean "browser or app", and in the other half, we use it to mean "is browser not app".

There's a related, functional bug also fixed here, which is that a browser process doesn't inherit its parent's app-id.  This causes problems e.g. for IndexedDB: If a browser inside an app uses IndexedDB, the DB should have the app's app-id.

I also modified Tab{Parent,Child} and nsFrameLoader to call "app" "ownOrContainingApp", to emphasize that we might have inherited the app from a parent process.  I left nsIDocShell::appId alone, because changing that would have necessitated changing nsILoadGroup and therefore a /lot/ of users in Necko; it's also not clear it would have clarified anything in those cases.

7b4c5ebb95 Bug 792675. Part 4: Refactor nsBlobURI/nsBlobProtocolHandler to nsHostObjectURI/nsHostObjectProtocolHandler. r=sicking 
The code to handle MediaStream URIs is almost the same as for Blobs, so share it.
nsHostObjectProtocolHandler is modified a bit to simplify method names. Also
we make nsHostObjectProtocolHandler::AddDataEntry take responsibility for
generating the URI to avoid duplicating that code later.
We need separate subclasses for each kind of host object protocol handler,
but we don't need separate subclasses for each kind of host object URI.

99782186da Fix for bug 778152 (Content window does not have an XMLHttpRequest property when accessed via an Xray wrapper in a subscript). r=bz. 
Switch from using the interface objects from the Xrays compartment to wrapping
interface objects and interface prototype objects in Xrays. Make dom binding
Xrays deal with both instance objects and interface and interface prototype
objects.

461c6572fd Bug 797821 - Hoist XPConnect-y stuff out of the compartment private and into the XPCWrappedNativeScope. r=mrbkap 
This change means we no longer have to keep around a set of XPConnect compartments.
We keep the compartment private around for non-xpconnecty stuff like about:memory
instrumentation that needs to happen on non-xpconnect compartments.

An alternative implementation strategy is to add "default-only"
versions of ResolveStyleFor and ResolvePseudoElementStyle and then
modify FileRules to support those, or use a cut-down custom version of
FileRules for them.  That would be faster, but more complicated on the
style set side.  We can always make that switch if we need to, I guess.

Another, more risky, option would be to always return a declaration
from getComputedStyle, even if we have no presshell, then just throw
(after flushing, as needed) if people try to get style info for it
just like we already do for declarations whose document loses a
presshell.  This might cause compat issues on sites that can deal with
null but not exceptions, though.  :(

This adds a new FX_TAB_SWITCH_TOTAL_MS that should more accurately represent
the user experience of tab switch time than FX_TAB_SWITCH_UPDATE_MS.
FX_TAB_SWITCH_UPDATE_MS is being kept because it gives a good indication of how
much time is being spent in the front end parts vs the painting parts.

This works by measuring the time between beginTabSwitch() and the first call to
LayerManager::PostPresent().

We want this right now so that we can avoid the scary warning when content Components
access happens in XBL (which we're allowing going forward). This patch would be overkill
just for that, but I also have plans to introduce a SOW-like protection of the Components
wrapper filtering policy. I can't just do the filename hack for that though, because real-
world XBL filenames might be all over the place. So let's just be safe here.
