07153819b1 Bug 777260 - Fix invalidations on transform items in container layers. r=roc 
Since Bug 758620, it's possible for an nsDisplayTransform to appear as the
child of a container layer. This caused problems when it was inactive, as the
invalidation would not be transformed in this case.

Fix this in FrameLayerBuilder by mandating that InvalidateThebesLayerContents
takes the untransformed invalidation and apply the transform in
BuildContainerLayer.

0bc8e449b7 Bug 779269 - Implement a TryMerge method for nsDisplayFixedPosition. r=roc 
Allow nsDisplayFixedPosition items that share the same fixed-pos frame to be
merged. This avoids a bug where the Google PDF viewer document image gets
re-rendered offset on the initial frame of a scroll when layer acceleration is
enabled.

Change GetThebesLayerResolutionForFrame to GetThebesLayerScaleForFrame,
which just returns a scale. Ensure that the scale is as accurate as possible
even if dedicated layers for scrolled content (or any layers at all) have not
been created yet, by taking into account transforms that have not yet
generated layers. This makes the decisions made by
nsGfxScrollFrameInner::ScrollToImpl independent of whether there is
currently an active layer for the scrolled content (or much more nearly so).
In nsGfxScrollFrameInner::ScrollToImpl, do not use the current internal
fractional offset of the ThebesLayer, which is in a mostly unrelated
coordinate space to our scroll positions. Instead, just try to make sure
that the previous and next scroll position differ by a whole number of
layer pixels.

f61563bc07 Bug 769541 - Fix display list creation for positioned descendants of fixed position frames. r=roc 
Positioned descendants of positioned frames escape the child display list to
their parent's positioned descendants list when they don't have a z-index set.
This caused their invalidations to be logged against the incorrect layer.

To fix this, wrap each extra positioned descendant of a fixed-position frame
in its own nsDisplayFixedPosition so they receive their own layers.

A comment in ApplyThebesLayerInvalidation says that it preserves the content
of ThebesLayerInvalidRegion, in case there are multiple container layers for
the same frame. SetHasContainerLayer, however, immediately clears said property.

This was causing invalidations to be lost since Bug 758620 on fixed-position
elements, as they were being separated out onto their own layers but were still
merged in the root scroll layer. This is tracked in Bug 769541.

This fixes the problem by storing the new invalid region in DisplayItemDataEntry
and clearing/setting the ThebesLayerInvalidRegion property in the
UpdateDisplayItemData callback from FrameLayerBuilder::WillEndTransaction.

a95b6edeea Bug 722872 - Part 1: Add nsITransferable::Init(nsILoadContext*), enforce that it's called in debug builds, and add nsIDOMDocument* arguments to nsIClipboardHelper methods; r=roc 
This patch does the following:

* It adds nsITransferable::Init(nsILoadContext*).  The load context
  might be null, which means that the transferable is non-private, but
  if it's non-null, we extract the boolean value for the privacy mode
  and store it in the transferable.
* It adds checks in debug builds to make sure that Init is always
  called, in form of fatal assertions.
* It adds nsIDOMDocument* agruments to nsIClipboardHelper methods which
  represent the document that the string is coming from.
  nsIClipboardHelper implementation internally gets the nsILoadContext
  from that and passes it on to the transferable upon creation.  The
  reason that I did this was that nsIClipboardHelper is supposed to be a
  high-level helper, and in most of its call sites, we have easy access
  to a document object.
* It modifies all of the call sites of the above interfaces according to
  this change.
* It adds a GetLoadContext helper to nsIDocument to help with changing
  the call sites.

This changes nsCSSParser::ParseColorString to fill in an nsCSSValue instead
of an nscolor, and exposes nsRuleNode::ComputeColor to turn this nsCSSValue
into an nscolor.

Because gradients can be used with different canvas elements in different
documents, these cannot pass useful values for nsRuleNode::ComputeColor's
aPresContext and aStyleContext arguments. This patch also changes SetColor
to deal with those parameters being null.

d54aaab73b Bug 157681 - Part 2: Optimize positioned frame offset changes by moving the frame as opposed to reflowing it in case we know that the size of the frame will not change; r=dbaron 
This patch adds a change hint to signal that one of the offsets on a
frame has been changed.  When processing the hint, we do one of the
following things based on the position property of the frame.

* For static frames, we ignore the offset changes completely, as they
  will not change the layout.
* For relative positioned frames, this patch refactors the
  nsHTMLReflowState::ComputeRelativeOffsets function so that it can be
  used from other callers, and it uses that to compute the new relative
  offsets, and uses the offsets computed previously to compute the new
  position of the frame.
* For absolute positioned frames, we set up a fake parent reflow state
  object, and then we create a new reflow state object for the frame in
  question.  This setup is similar to what nsFrame::BoxReflow does.
  Once we have the new reflow state object, we use it to compute the
  absolute offsets, and then we use the computed offsets to set the new
  position of the frame.  The offset computation is similar to what
  nsAbsoluteContainingBlock::ReflowAbsoluteFrame does.  In some cases
  where it is possible for the dimensions of the frame to change based
  on the offset changes, we fall back to a full reflow.

4a752104bd Use the same width basis for font inflation throughout a font inflation flow root. (Bug 747720, patch 3) r=roc 
Font inflation flow roots are similar to block formatting contexts,
though I'm trying to make not all block formatting contexts be flow
roots in later patches on this bug, bug 707195, and related bugs.

This will lead to more consistent font size inflation in a flow of text
where the blocks vary in width (e.g., because some of the blocks have
horizontal margins) but we determine the text to comprise a single flow.
