c5452a58db Merge branch 'for_linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jack/linux-fs
Pull quota interface unification and misc cleanups from Jan Kara:
"The first part of the series unifying XFS and VFS quota interfaces.

This part unifies turning quotas on and off so quota-tools and
xfs_quota can be used to manage any filesystem. This is useful so
that userspace doesn't have to distinguish which filesystem it is
working with. As a result we can then easily reuse tests for project
  quotas in XFS for ext4.

This also contains minor cleanups and fixes for udf, isofs, and ext3"

43c6116573 Revert "IB/core: Add support for extended query device caps"
While commit 7e36ef8205 ("IB/core: Temporarily disable
ex_query_device uverb") is correct as it makes the extended
QUERY_DEVICE uverb (which came as part of commit 5a77abf9a9
("IB/core: Add support for extended query device caps") and commit
860f10a799 ("IB/core: Add flags for on demand paging support")) not
available to userspace, it doesn't address the initial issue regarding
ib_copy_to_udata() [1][2].

Additionally, further discussions around this new uverb seems to
conclude it would require a different data structure than the one
currently described in <rdma/ib_user_verbs.h> [3].

Both of these issues require a revert of the changes, so this patch
partially reverts commit 8cdd312cfe ("IB/mlx5: Implement the ODP
capability query verb") and commit 860f10a799 ("IB/core: Add flags
for on demand paging support") and fully reverts commit 5a77abf9a9
("IB/core: Add support for extended query device caps").

6cfda7fbeb can: m_can: tag current CAN FD controllers as non-ISO
During the CAN FD standardization process within the ISO it turned out that
the failure detection capability has to be improved.

The CAN in Automation organization (CiA) defined the already implemented CAN
FD controllers as 'non-ISO' and the upcoming improved CAN FD controllers as
'ISO' compliant. See at http://www.can-cia.com/index.php?id=1937

Finally there will be three types of CAN FD controllers in the future:

1. ISO compliant (fixed)
2. non-ISO compliant (fixed, like the M_CAN IP v3.0.1 in m_can.c)
3. ISO/non-ISO CAN FD controllers (switchable, like the PEAK USB FD)

So the current M_CAN driver for the M_CAN IP v3.0.1 has to expose its non-ISO
implementation by setting the CAN_CTRLMODE_FD_NON_ISO ctrlmode at startup.
As this bit cannot be switched at configuration time CAN_CTRLMODE_FD_NON_ISO
must not be set in ctrlmode_supported of the current M_CAN driver.

1ba398041f openvswitch: packet messages need their own probe attribtue
User space is currently sending a OVS_FLOW_ATTR_PROBE for both flow
and packet messages. This leads to an out-of-bounds access in
ovs_packet_cmd_execute() because OVS_FLOW_ATTR_PROBE >
OVS_PACKET_ATTR_MAX.

Introduce a new OVS_PACKET_ATTR_PROBE with the same numeric value
as OVS_FLOW_ATTR_PROBE to grow the range of accepted packet attributes
while maintaining to be binary compatible with existing OVS binaries.

75069f2b5b vfs: renumber FMODE_NONOTIFY and add to uniqueness check
Fix clashing values for O_PATH and FMODE_NONOTIFY on sparc. The
clashing O_PATH value was added in commit 5229645bdc ("vfs: add
nonconflicting values for O_PATH") but this can't be changed as it is
user-visible.

FMODE_NONOTIFY is only used internally in the kernel, but it is in the
same numbering space as the other O_* flags, as indicated by the comment
at the top of include/uapi/asm-generic/fcntl.h (and its use in
fs/notify/fanotify/fanotify_user.c). So renumber it to avoid the clash.

All of this has happened before (commit 12ed2e36c9: "fanotify:
FMODE_NONOTIFY and __O_SYNC in sparc conflict"), and all of this will
happen again -- so update the uniqueness check in fcntl_init() to
include __FMODE_NONOTIFY.

b28e0506fa virtio_ring: document alignment requirements
Host needs to know vring element alignment requirements:
simply doing alignof on structures doesn't work reliably: on some
platforms gcc has alignof(uint32_t) == 2.

Add macros for alignment as specified in virtio 1.0 cs01,
export them to userspace as well.

6d08acd2d3 in6: fix conflict with glibc
Resolve conflicts between glibc definition of IPV6 socket options
and those defined in Linux headers. Looks like earlier efforts to
solve this did not cover all the definitions.

It resolves warnings during iproute2 build.
Please consider for stable as well.

ed55635e2e Merge branch 'for-next' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/nab/target-pending
Pull SCSI target fixes from Nicholas Bellinger:
"The highlights this merge window include:

   - Allow target fabric drivers to function as built-in. (Roland)
   - Fix tcm_loop multi-TPG endpoint nexus bug. (Hannes)
   - Move per device config_item_type into se_subsystem_api, allowing
configfs attributes to be defined at module_init time. (Jerome +
     nab)
   - Convert existing IBLOCK/FILEIO/RAMDISK/PSCSI/TCMU drivers to use
     external configfs attributes. (nab)
   - A number of iser-target fixes related to active session + network
portal shutdown stability during extended stress testing. (Sagi +
     Slava)
   - Dynamic allocation of T10-PI contexts for iser-target, fixing a
potentially bogus iscsi_np->tpg_np pointer reference in >= v3.14
     code. (Sagi)
   - iser-target performance + scalability improvements. (Sagi)
   - Fixes for SPC-4 Persistent Reservation AllRegistrants spec
compliance. (Ilias + James + nab)
   - Avoid potential short kern_sendmsg() in iscsi-target for now until
Al's conversion to use msghdr iteration is merged post -rc1.
     (Viro)

Also, Sagi has requested a number of iser-target patches (9) that
address stability issues he's encountered during extended stress
testing be considered for v3.10.y + v3.14.y code. Given the amount of
LOC involved, it will certainly require extra backporting effort.

Apologies in advance to Greg-KH & Co on this. Sagi and I will be
working post-merge to ensure they each get applied correctly"

An i2c driver for powernv. This is acked by Wolfram Sang, and he

A fix for audit from rgb at Red Hat, acked by Paul Moore who is one of

A patch from Ben to export the symbol map of our OPAL firmware as a

 "virtio 1.0 related fixes

Most importantly, this fixes using virtio_pci as a module.

Further, the big virtio 1.0 conversion missed a couple of places.
  This fixes them up.

This isn't 100% sparse-clean yet because on many architectures
get_user triggers sparse warnings when used with __bitwise tag (when
same tag is on both pointer and value read).

I posted a patchset to fix it up by adding __force on all arches that
don't already have it (many do), when that's merged these warnings
