a5e1d715a8 Merge tag 'armsoc-cleanup' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc
Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Olof Johansson:
"Again we have a sizable (but not huge) cleanup branch with a net delta
  of about -3k lines.

  Main contents here is:

   - A bunch of development/cleanup of a few PXA boards
   - Removal of bockw platforms on shmobile, since the platform has now
     gone completely multiplatform. Whee!
   - move of the 32kHz timer on OMAP to a proper timesource
   - Misc cleanup of older OMAP material (incl removal of one board
     file)
   - Switch over to new common PWM lookup support for several platforms

There's also a handful of other cleanups across the tree, but the
  above are the major pieces"

a1fdeaa71c spi: fix kernel-doc warnings about missing return desc in spi.h
When building docs with make htmldocs, warnings about not having
a description for the return value are reported, i.e:

warning: No description found for return value of 'spi_write'

Fix these by following the kernel-doc conventions explained in

5cfc5220a6 ARM: pxa: Remove unused clock_enable field from struct pxa2xx_spi_master
Use for struct pxa2xx_spi_master clock_enable field was removed years ago
from the pxa2xx-spi driver by the commit 2f1a74e5a2 ("[ARM] pxa: make

Therefore remove it from structure definition, documentation and from

c15f6ed3a1 spi: bitbang: Replace spinlock by mutex
chipselect (in the case of spi-gpio: spi_gpio_chipselect, which
calls gpiod_set_raw_value_cansleep) can sleep, so we should not
hold a spinlock while calling it from spi_bitbang_setup.

This issue was introduced by this commit, which converted spi-gpio
to cansleep variants:
d9dda5a191 "spi: spi-gpio: Use 'cansleep' variants to access GPIO"

Replacing the lock variable by a mutex fixes the issue: This is
safe as all instances where the lock is used are called from
contexts that can sleep.

Finally, update spi-ppc4xx and and spi-s3c24xx to use mutex
functions, as they directly hold the lock for similar purpose.

6c373ca893 Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net-next
Pull networking updates from David Miller:

 1) Add BQL support to via-rhine, from Tino Reichardt.

 2) Integrate SWITCHDEV layer support into the DSA layer, so DSA drivers
can support hw switch offloading. From Floria Fainelli.

 3) Allow 'ip address' commands to initiate multicast group join/leave,
    from Madhu Challa.

 4) Many ipv4 FIB lookup optimizations from Alexander Duyck.

 5) Support EBPF in cls_bpf classifier and act_bpf action, from Daniel
    Borkmann.

 6) Remove the ugly compat support in ARP for ugly layers like ax25,
rose, etc. And use this to clean up the neigh layer, then use it to
implement MPLS support. All from Eric Biederman.

 7) Support L3 forwarding offloading in switches, from Scott Feldman.

 8) Collapse the LOCAL and MAIN ipv4 FIB tables when possible, to speed
up route lookups even further. From Alexander Duyck.

 9) Many improvements and bug fixes to the rhashtable implementation,
from Herbert Xu and Thomas Graf. In particular, in the case where
an rhashtable user bulk adds a large number of items into an empty
table, we expand the table much more sanely.

10) Don't make the tcp_metrics hash table per-namespace, from Eric
    Biederman.

11) Extend EBPF to access SKB fields, from Alexei Starovoitov.

12) Split out new connection request sockets so that they can be
established in the main hash table. Much less false sharing since
hash lookups go direct to the request sockets instead of having to
go first to the listener then to the request socks hashed
    underneath. From Eric Dumazet.

13) Add async I/O support for crytpo AF_ALG sockets, from Tadeusz Struk.

14) Support stable privacy address generation for RFC7217 in IPV6. From
    Hannes Frederic Sowa.

15) Hash network namespace into IP frag IDs, also from Hannes Frederic
    Sowa.

16) Convert PTP get/set methods to use 64-bit time, from Richard
    Cochran.

f0b7d43c8a cc2520: Add support for CC2591 amplifier.
The TI CC2521 is an RF power amplifier that is designed to interface
with the CC2520. Conveniently, it directly interfaces with the CC2520
and does not require any pins to be connected to a
microcontroller/processor. Adding a CC2591 increases the CC2520's range,
which is useful for border router and other wall-powered applications.

Using the CC2591 with the CC2520 requires configuring the CC2520 GPIOs
that are connected to the CC2591 to correctly set the CC2591 into TX and
RX modes. Further, TI recommends that the CC2520_TXPOWER and
CC2520_AGCCTRL1 registers are set differently to maximize the CC2591's
performance. These settings are covered in TI Application Note AN065.

This patch adds an optional `amplified` field to the cc2520 entry in the
device tree. If present, the CC2520 will be configured to operate with a
CC2591.

The expected pin mapping is:
CC2520 GPIO0 --> CC2591 EN
CC2520 GPIO5 --> CC2591 PAEN

ea022bbb00 spi: Remove support for legacy PM
All SPI drivers have been converted from legacy suspend/resume callbacks to
dev_pm_ops. So we can finally remove support for legacy PM from the SPI
core.

Since there aren't any special bus specific things to do during
suspend/resume and since the PM core will automatically fallback directly to
using the device's PM ops if no bus PM ops are specified there is no need to
have any special SPI bus PM ops.
