3c73bc5219 usb: gadget: core: sync interrupt before unbind the udc
The threaded interrupt handler may still be called after the
usb_gadget_disconnect is called, it causes the structures used
at interrupt handler was freed before it uses, eg the
usb_request. This issue usually occurs we remove the udc function
during the transfer. Below is the example when doing stress
test for android switch function, the EP0's request is freed
by .unbind (configfs_composite_unbind -> composite_dev_cleanup),
but the threaded handler accesses this request during handling
setup packet request.

In fact, there is no protection between unbind the udc
and udc interrupt handling, so we have to avoid the interrupt
handler is occurred or scheduled during the .unbind flow.

5469fd64ef usb: gadget: Introduce usb_request->is_last
To take advantage of DWC3 internal TRB prefetch and cache for
performance, inform the controller the last request with stream_id
before switching to a different stream transfer. This allows the
controller to maintain its transfer burst within the stream ID.

Introduce the usb-request is_last field to help inform the DWC3
controller of this.

6bc3f3979e USB: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array member
The current codebase makes use of the zero-length array language
extension to the C90 standard, but the preferred mechanism to declare
variable-length types such as these ones is a flexible array member[1][2],
introduced in C99:

struct foo {
        int stuff;
        struct boo array[];
};

By making use of the mechanism above, we will get a compiler warning
in case the flexible array does not occur last in the structure, which
will help us prevent some kind of undefined behavior bugs from being
inadvertently introduced[3] to the codebase from now on.

Also, notice that, dynamic memory allocations won't be affected by
this change:

"Flexible array members have incomplete type, and so the sizeof operator
may not be applied. As a quirk of the original implementation of
zero-length arrays, sizeof evaluates to zero."[1]

This issue was found with the help of Coccinelle.

05f0b20b67 usb: gadget: Export recommended BESL values
Currently there's no option for the controller driver to report the
recommended Best Effort Service Latency (BESL) when operating with LPM
support. Add new fields in usb_dcd_config_params to export the
recommended baseline and deep BESL values for the function drivers to
set the proper BESL value in the BOS descriptor.

3db1b636c0 usb:gadget Separated decoding functions from dwc3 driver.
Patch moves some decoding functions from driver/usb/dwc3/debug.h driver
to driver/usb/gadget/debug.c file. These moved functions include:
    dwc3_decode_get_status
    dwc3_decode_set_clear_feature
    dwc3_decode_set_address
    dwc3_decode_get_set_descriptor
    dwc3_decode_get_configuration
    dwc3_decode_set_configuration
    dwc3_decode_get_intf
    dwc3_decode_set_intf
    dwc3_decode_synch_frame
    dwc3_decode_set_sel
    dwc3_decode_set_isoch_delay
    dwc3_decode_ctrl

These functions are used also in inroduced cdns3 driver.

All functions prefixes were changed from dwc3 to usb.
Also, function's parameters has been extended according to the name
of fields in standard SETUP packet.
Additionally, patch adds usb_decode_ctrl function to
include/linux/usb/gadget.h file.

6b69753fa0 usb: gadget: Introduce frame_number to usb_request
Add a field frame_number to the usb_request to report the interval
number in (micro)frames in which the isochronous transfer was
transmitted or received. The gadget driver can use this knowledge to
synchronize with the host. Also, this option is useful for debugging
purposes.

aaeab02ddc usb/gadget: Add an EP dispose() callback for EP lifetime tracking
Some UDC may want to allocate endpoints dynamically, either because
the HW supports an arbitrary large number or because (like the Aspeed
BMC SoCs), the pool of HW endpoints is shared between multiple gadgets.

The allocation side can be done rather easily using the existing
match_ep() UDC hook.

However we have no good place to "free" them.

This implements a "simple" variant of this, which calls an EP dispose
callback on all EPs associated with a gadget when the composite device
gets unbound.

This is required by my upcoming Aspeed vHub driver.

5fd54ace47 USB: add SPDX identifiers to all remaining files in drivers/usb/
It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to
audit the kernel tree for correct licenses.

Update the drivers/usb/ and include/linux/usb* files with the correct
SPDX license identifier based on the license text in the file itself.
The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used
instead of the full boiler plate text.

This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe
Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart.

31fe084ffa usb: gadget: core: unmap request from DMA only if previously mapped
In the SG case this is already handled since a non-zero
request->num_mapped_sgs is a clear indicator that dma_map_sg()
had been called. While it would be nice to do the same for the
singly mapped case by simply checking for non-zero request->dma,
it's conceivable that 0 is a valid dma_addr_t handle. Hence add
a flag 'dma_mapped' to struct usb_request and use this to
determine the need to call dma_unmap_single(). Otherwise, if a
request is not DMA mapped then the result of calling
usb_request_unmap_request() would safely be a no-op.

67fdfda4a9 usb: gadget: core: introduce ->udc_set_speed() method
Sometimes, the gadget driver we want to run has max_speed lower than
what the UDC supports. In such situations, UDC might want to make sure
we don't try to connect on speeds not supported by the gadget
driver (e.g. super-speed capable dwc3 with high-speed capable g_midi)
because that will just fail.

In order to make sure this situation never happens, we introduce a new
optional ->udc_set_speed() method which can be implemented by
interested UDC drivers.

a9548c5529 usb: gadget: Allow a non-SuperSpeed gadget to support LPM
This commit allows a gadget that does not support SuperSpeed to indicate
that it supports LPM. It does this by setting the 'lpm_capable' flag in
the gadget structure.

If a gadget sets this, the composite gadget framework will set the
bcdUSB to 0x0201 to indicate that this supports BOS descriptors, and
also return a USB 2.0 Extension descriptor as part of the BOS descriptor
set.

For isoc endpoint descriptor, the wMaxPacketSize is not real max packet
size (see Table 9-13. Standard Endpoint Descriptor, USB 2.0 specifcation),
it may contain the number of packet, so the real max packet should be
ep->desc->wMaxPacketSize && 0x7ff.

60e7396f82 usb: gadget: add a new quirk to avoid skb_reserve in u_ether.c
Some platforms (e.g. USB-DMAC on R-Car SoCs) has memory alignment
restriction. If memory alignment is not match, the usb peripheral
driver decides not to use the DMA controller. Then, the performance
is not good.

In the case of u_ether.c, since it calls skb_reserve() in rx_submit(),
it is possible to cause memory alignment mismatch.

So, this patch adds a new quirk "quirk_avoids_skb_reserve" to avoid
skb_reserve() calling in u_ether.c to improve performance.

A peripheral driver will set this flag and network gadget drivers
(e.g. f_ncm.c) will reference the flag via gadget_avoids_skb_reserve().

16b114a6d7 usb: gadget: fix usb_ep_align_maybe endianness and new usb_ep_align
USB spec specifies wMaxPacketSize to be little endian (as other properties),
so when using this variable in the driver we should convert to the current
CPU endianness if necessary.

This patch also introduces usb_ep_align() which does always returns the
aligned buffer size for an endpoint. This is useful to be used by USB requests
allocator functions.
