Crashlytics issue 8b135d6f: when the Go profile manager could not resolve the active profile paths (a rename of active_profile.json failed with permission denied on a custom-ROM device), runClient rethrew the error as a RuntimeException on its worker thread, which killed the whole app. Route the failure through notifyError and the stopped callback like a failed engine run, reset the running flag, and end the thread cleanly so the UI returns to idle and the user can retry.
