inet_sk_diag_fill() populates r->idiag_timer with the following
precedence order:
1 - Retransmit timer.
4 - Probe0 timer.
2 - Keepalive timer.
This patch adds a new value, last in the list, if other timers
are not active.
5 - Delayed ACK timer.
A corresponding iproute2 patch will follow to replace "unknown"
with "delack":
ESTAB 10 0 [2002:a05:6830:1f86::]:12875 [2002:a05:6830:1f85::]:50438
timer:(unknown,003ms,0) ino:152178 sk:3004 cgroup:unreachable:189 <->
skmem:(r1344,rb12780520,t0,tb262144,f2752,w0,o250,bl0,d0) ts usec_ts
...
Also add the following enum in uapi/linux/inet_diag.h
as suggested by David Ahern.
enum {
IDIAG_TIMER_OFF,
IDIAG_TIMER_ON,
IDIAG_TIMER_KEEPALIVE,
IDIAG_TIMER_TIMEWAIT,
IDIAG_TIMER_PROBE0,
IDIAG_TIMER_DELACK,
};
Neal Cardwell suggested to test for ICSK_ACK_TIMER:
inet_csk_clear_xmit_timer() does not call sk_stop_timer()
because INET_CSK_CLEAR_TIMERS is unset.

tcp_diag_dump() / tcp_diag_dump_one() is just a wrapper of
inet_diag_dump_icsk() / inet_diag_dump_one_icsk(), respectively.
Let's inline them in tcp_diag.c and move static callees as well.
Note that inet_sk_attr_size() is merged into tcp_diag_get_aux_size(),
and we remove inet_diag_handler.idiag_get_aux_size() accordingly.
While at it, BUG_ON() is replaced with DEBUG_NET_WARN_ON_ONCE().

These inet_diag functions required struct inet_hashinfo because
they are shared by TCP and DCCP:
* inet_diag_dump_icsk()
* inet_diag_dump_one_icsk()
* inet_diag_find_one_icsk()
DCCP has gone, and we don't need to pass hashinfo down to them.
Let's fetch net->ipv4.tcp_death_row.hashinfo directly in the first
2 functions.
Note that inet_diag_find_one_icsk() don't need hashinfo since the
previous patch.
We will move TCP-specific functions to tcp_diag.c in the next patch.

When introduced in commit 61723b3932 ("tcp: ulp: add functions to dump
ulp-specific information"), the whole ULP diag info has been exported
only if the requester had CAP_NET_ADMIN.
It looks like not everything is sensitive, and some info can be exported
to all users in order to ease the debugging from the userspace side
without requiring additional capabilities. Each layer should then decide
what can be exposed to everybody. The 'net_admin' boolean is then passed
to the different layers.
On kTLS side, it looks like there is nothing sensitive there: version,
cipher type, tx/rx user config type, plus some flags. So, only some
metadata about the configuration, no cryptographic info like keys, etc.
Then, everything can be exported to all users.
On MPTCP side, that's different. The MPTCP-related sequence numbers per
subflow should certainly not be exposed to everybody. For example, the
DSS mapping and ssn_offset would give all users on the system access to
narrow ranges of values for the subflow TCP sequence numbers and
MPTCP-level DSNs, and then ease packet injection. The TCP diag interface
doesn't expose the TCP sequence numbers for TCP sockets, so best to do
the same here. The rest -- token, IDs, flags -- can be exported to
everybody.

This means we cannot use tcp_hashinfo directly in most places.
Instead, access it via net->ipv4.tcp_death_row.hashinfo.

The INET_DIAG_REQ_BYTECODE nlattr is currently re-found every time when
the "dump()" is re-started.
In a latter patch, it will also need to parse the new
INET_DIAG_REQ_SK_BPF_STORAGES nlattr to learn the map_fds. Thus, this
patch takes this chance to store the parsed nlattr in cb->data
during the "start" time of a dump.
By doing this, the "bc" argument also becomes unnecessary
and is removed. Also, the two copies of the INET_DIAG_REQ_BYTECODE
parsing-audit logic between compat/current version can be
consolidated to one.

In a latter patch, there is a need to update "cb->min_dump_alloc"
in inet_sk_diag_fill() as it learns the diffierent bpf_sk_storages
stored in a sk while dumping all sk(s) (e.g. tcp_hashinfo).
The inet_sk_diag_fill() currently does not take the "cb" as an argument.
One of the reason is inet_sk_diag_fill() is used by both dump_one()
and dump() (which belong to the "struct inet_diag_handler". The dump_one()
interface does not pass the "cb" along.
This patch is to make dump_one() pass a "cb". The "cb" is created in
inet_diag_cmd_exact(). The "nlh" and "in_skb" are stored in "cb" as
the dump() interface does. The total number of args in
inet_sk_diag_fill() is also cut from 10 to 7 and
that helps many callers to pass fewer args.
In particular,
"struct user_namespace *user_ns", "u32 pid", and "u32 seq"
can be replaced by accessing "cb->nlh" and "cb->skb".
A similar argument reduction is also made to
inet_twsk_diag_fill() and inet_req_diag_fill().
inet_csk_diag_dump() and inet_csk_diag_fill() are also removed.
They are mostly equivalent to inet_sk_diag_fill(). Their repeated
usages are very limited. Thus, inet_sk_diag_fill() is directly used
in those occasions.
