This patch supports application allocated memory for CQs.
The application allocates and manages the CQs directly. To support
this, the driver exports a new comp_mask to indicate direct control
of the CQ. When this comp_mask bit is set in the ureq, the driver
maps this application allocated CQ memory into hardware. As the
application manages this memory, the CQ depth ('cqe') passed by it
must be used as is and the driver shouldn't update it.
For CQs, ib_core supports pinning dmabuf based application memory,
specified through provider attributes. This umem is mananged by the
ib_core and is available in ib_cq. Register 'create_cq_user' devop
to process this umem. The driver also supports the legacy interface
that allocates umem internally.

Some applications may need multiple doorbells to support parallel
processing of threads that each operate on a group of resources.
The following uapi methods have been implemented in this patch.
- BNXT_RE_METHOD_DBR_ALLOC:
This will allow the appliation to create extra doorbell regions
and use the associated doorbell page index in CREATE_QP and
use the associated DB address while ringing the doorbell.
- BNXT_RE_METHOD_DBR_FREE:
Free the allocated doorbell region.
- BNXT_RE_METHOD_GET_DEFAULT_DBR:
Return the default doorbell page index and doorbell page address
associated with the ucontext.

This flag can be set by drivers once they have finished auditing and
implementing the full udata support on every udata operation.
My intention going forward is that driver authors proposing new udata uAPI
for their drivers must first do the work and set this flag.
If this flag is not set the userspace should not try to use udata based
uAPI newer than this commit, though on a case by case basis it may be OK
based on what checks historical kernels performed on the specific call.
Since bnxt_re is audited now, it is the first driver to set the flag.

Extend the VAR allocation UAPI to accept an optional flags attribute,
allowing userspace to request TLP VAR allocation via the
MLX5_IB_UAPI_VAR_ALLOC_FLAG_TLP flag.
When the TLP flag "MLX5_IB_UAPI_VAR_ALLOC_FLAG_TLP" is specified,
the driver selects the TLP VAR region for allocation instead of the
regular VirtIO VAR region.

Allow users to set FRMR pools aging timer through netlink.
This functionality will allow user to control how long handles reside in
the kernel before being destroyed, thus being able to tune the tradeoff
between memory and HW object consumption and memory registration
optimization.
Since FRMR pools is highly beneficial for application restart scenarios,
this command allows users to modify the aging timer to their application
restart time, making sure the FRMR handles deregistered on application
teardown are kept for long enough in the pools for reuse in the
application startup.

Expose DMABUF functionality to userspace through the uverbs interface,
enabling InfiniBand/RDMA devices to export PCI based memory regions
(e.g. device memory) as DMABUF file descriptors. This allows
zero-copy sharing of RDMA memory with other subsystems that support the
dma-buf framework.
A new UVERBS_OBJECT_DMABUF object type and allocation method were
introduced.
During allocation, uverbs invokes the driver to supply the
rdma_user_mmap_entry associated with the given page offset (pgoff).
Based on the returned rdma_user_mmap_entry, uverbs requests the driver
to provide the corresponding physical-memory details as well as the
driver’s PCI provider information.
Using this information, dma_buf_export() is called; if it succeeds,
uobj->object is set to the underlying file pointer returned by the
dma-buf framework.
The file descriptor number follows the standard uverbs allocation flow,
but the file pointer comes from the dma-buf subsystem, including its own
fops and private data.
When an mmap entry is removed, uverbs iterates over its associated
DMABUFs, marks them as revoked, and calls dma_buf_move_notify() so that
their importers are notified.
The same procedure applies during the disassociate flow; final cleanup
occurs when the application closes the file.

A recent commit modified struct irdma_alloc_ucontext_resp by adding a
member with implicit padding in front of it, though this does not change
the offset of the data members other than m68k. Reported by
scripts/check-uapi.sh:
==== ABI differences detected in include/rdma/irdma-abi.h from 1dd7bde2e91c -> HEAD ====
[C] 'struct irdma_alloc_ucontext_resp' changed:
type size changed from 704 to 640 (in bits)
1 data member deletion:
'__u8 rsvd3[2]', at offset 640 (in bits) at irdma-abi.h:61:1
1 data member insertion:
'__u8 revd3[2]', at offset 592 (in bits) at irdma-abi.h:60:1
Change the size back to the previous version, and remove the implicit
padding by making it explicit and matching what x86-64 would do by placing
max_hw_srq_quanta member into a naturally aligned location.

On a few 32-bit architectures, the newly added ib_user_service_rec
structure is not 64-bit aligned the way it is on most regular ones.
Add explicit padding into the rdma_ucm_query_ib_service_resp and
rdma_ucm_resolve_ib_service structures that embed it, so that the layout
is compatible across all of them.
This is an ABI change on i386, aligning it with x86_64 and the other
64-bit architectures to avoid having to use a compat ioctl handler.

In the IPU model, a function can host one or more logical network
endpoints called vPorts. Each vPort may be associated with either a
physical or an internal communication port, and can be RDMA capable. A
vPort features a netdev and, if RDMA capable, must have an associated
ib_dev.
This change introduces a GEN3 auxiliary vPort driver responsible for
registering a verbs device for every RDMA-capable vPort. Additionally,
the UAPI is updated to prevent the binding of GEN3 devices to older
user-space providers.

Enable user-space to inject an event into a CM through it's event
channel. Two new events are added and supported: RDMA_CM_EVENT_USER and
RDMA_CM_EVENT_INTERNAL. With these 2 events a new event parameter "arg"
is supported, which is passed from sender to receiver transparently.
With this feature an application is able to write an event into a CM
channel with a new user-space rdmacm API. For example thread T1 could
write an event with the API:
rdma_write_cm_event(cm_id, RDMA_CM_EVENT_USER, status, arg);
and thread T2 could receive the event with rdma_get_cm_event().

Add new UCMA command and the corresponding CMA implementation. Userspace
can send this command to request service resolution based on service
name or ID.
On a successful resolution, one or multiple service records are
returned, the first one will be used as destination address by default.
Two new CM events are added and returned to caller accordingly:
- RDMA_CM_EVENT_ADDRINFO_RESOLVED: Resolve succeeded;
- RDMA_CM_EVENT_ADDRINFO_ERROR: Resolve failed.
Internally two new CM states are added:
- RDMA_CM_ADDRINFO_QUERY: CM is in the process of IB service
resolution;
- RDMA_CM_ADDRINFO_RESOLVED: CM has finished the resolve process.
With these new states, beside existing state transfer processes, 2 new
processes are supported:
1. The default address is used:
RDMA_CM_ADDR_BOUND ->
RDMA_CM_ADDRINFO_QUERY ->
RDMA_CM_ADDRINFO_RESOLVED ->
RDMA_CM_ROUTE_QUERY
2. To use a different address:
RDMA_CM_ADDR_BOUND ->
RDMA_CM_ADDRINFO_QUERY->
RDMA_CM_ADDRINFO_RESOLVED ->
RDMA_CM_ADDR_QUERY ->
RDMA_CM_ADDR_RESOLVED ->
RDMA_CM_ROUTE_QUERY
In the 2nd case, resolve_addrinfo returns multiple records, a user
could call rdma_resolve_addr() with the one that is not the first.
