Jakub Kicinski 1119e5519d net: sched: uapi: add more sanely named duplicate defines
The TCA_FLOWER_KEY_CFM enum has a UNSPEC and MAX with _OPT
in the name, but the real attributes don't. Add a MAX that
more reasonably matches the attrs.

The PAD in TCA_TAPRIO is the only attr which doesn't have
_ATTR in it, perhaps signifying that it's not a real attr?
If so interesting idea in abstract but it makes codegen painful.

Jakub Kicinski 8066e388be net: add UAPI to the header guard in various network headers
fib_rule, ip6_tunnel, and a whole lot of if_* headers lack the customary
_UAPI in the header guard. Without it YNL build can't protect from in tree
and system headers both getting included. YNL doesn't need most of these
but it's annoying to have to fix them one by one.

Note that header installation strips this _UAPI prefix so this should
result in no change to the end user.

Gustavo A. R. SilvaandJakub Kicinski 216203bdc2 UAPI: net/sched: Use __struct_group() in flex struct tc_u32_sel
Use the `__struct_group()` helper to create a new tagged
`struct tc_u32_sel_hdr`. This structure groups together all the
members of the flexible `struct tc_u32_sel` except the flexible
array. As a result, the array is effectively separated from the
rest of the members without modifying the memory layout of the
flexible structure.

This new tagged struct will be used to fix problematic declarations
of middle-flex-arrays in composite structs[1].

Asbjørn Sloth TønnesenandJakub Kicinski 11036bd7a0 net/sched: cls_flower: rework TCA_FLOWER_KEY_ENC_FLAGS usage
This patch changes how TCA_FLOWER_KEY_ENC_FLAGS is used, so that
it is used with TCA_FLOWER_KEY_FLAGS_* flags, in the same way as
TCA_FLOWER_KEY_FLAGS is currently used.

Where TCA_FLOWER_KEY_FLAGS uses {key,mask}->control.flags, then
TCA_FLOWER_KEY_ENC_FLAGS now uses {key,mask}->enc_control.flags,
therefore {key,mask}->enc_flags is now unused.

As the generic fl_set_key_flags/fl_dump_key_flags() is used with
encap set to true, then fl_{set,dump}_key_enc_flags() is removed.

This breaks unreleased userspace API (net-next since 2024-06-04).

Asbjørn Sloth TønnesenandJakub Kicinski bfda5a6313 net/sched: flower: define new tunnel flags
Define new TCA_FLOWER_KEY_FLAGS_* flags for use in struct
flow_dissector_key_control, covering the same flags as
currently exposed through TCA_FLOWER_KEY_ENC_FLAGS.

Put the new flags under FLOW_DIS_F_*. The idea is that we can
later, move the existing flags under FLOW_DIS_F_* as well.

The ynl flag names have been taken from the RFC iproute2 patch.

Asbjørn Sloth TønnesenandJakub Kicinski 6e5c85c003 net/sched: flower: refactor control flag definitions
Redefine the flower control flags as an enum, so they are
included in BTF info.

Make the kernel-side enum a more explicit superset of
TCA_FLOWER_KEY_FLAGS_*, new flags still need to be added to
both enums, but at least the bit position only has to be
defined once.

FLOW_DIS_ENCAPSULATION is never set for mask, so it can't be
exposed to userspace in an unsupported flags mask error message,
so it will be placed one bit position above the last uAPI flag.

Wojciech DrewekandTony Nguyen 5008750eff net/sched: flower: Add PPPoE filter
Add support for PPPoE specific fields for tc-flower.
Those fields can be provided only when protocol was set
to ETH_P_PPP_SES. Defines, dump, load and set are being done here.

Overwrite basic.n_proto only in case of PPP_IP and PPP_IPV6,
otherwise leave it as ETH_P_PPP_SES.

Gustavo A. R. Silva 94dfc73e7c treewide: uapi: Replace zero-length arrays with flexible-array members
There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare
having a dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure.
Kernel code should always use “flexible array members”[1] for these
cases. The older style of one-element or zero-length arrays should
no longer be used[2].

This code was transformed with the help of Coccinelle:
(linux-5.19-rc2$ spatch --jobs $(getconf _NPROCESSORS_ONLN) --sp-file script.cocci --include-headers --dir . > output.patch)

@@
identifier S, member, array;
type T1, T2;
@@

struct S {
  ...
  T1 member;
  T2 array[
- 0
  ];
};

-fstrict-flex-arrays=3 is coming and we need to land these changes
to prevent issues like these in the short future:

../fs/minix/dir.c:337:3: warning: 'strcpy' will always overflow; destination buffer has size 0,
but the source string has length 2 (including NUL byte) [-Wfortify-source]
		strcpy(de3->name, ".");
		^

Since these are all [0] to [] changes, the risk to UAPI is nearly zero. If
this breaks anything, we can use a union with a new member name.

Cong WangandDavid S. Miller 695176bfe5 net_sched: refactor TC action init API
TC action ->init() API has 10 parameters, it becomes harder
to read. Some of them are just boolean and can be replaced
by flags. Similarly for the internal API tcf_action_init()
and tcf_exts_validate().

This patch converts them to flags and fold them into
the upper 16 bits of "flags", whose lower 16 bits are still
reserved for user-space. More specifically, the following
kernel flags are introduced:

TCA_ACT_FLAGS_POLICE replace 'name' in a few contexts, to
distinguish whether it is compatible with policer.

TCA_ACT_FLAGS_BIND replaces 'bind', to indicate whether
this action is bound to a filter.

TCA_ACT_FLAGS_REPLACE replaces 'ovr' in most contexts,
means we are replacing an existing action.

TCA_ACT_FLAGS_NO_RTNL replaces 'rtnl_held' but has the
opposite meaning, because we still hold RTNL in most
cases.

The only user-space flag TCA_ACT_FLAGS_NO_PERCPU_STATS is
untouched and still stored as before.

I have tested this patch with tdc and I do not see any
failure related to this patch.
