Janusz Krzysztofik 77588c14ac gpiolib: Pass array info to get/set array functions
In order to make use of array info obtained from gpiod_get_array() and
speed up processing of arrays matching single GPIO chip layout, that
information must be passed to get/set array functions. Extend the
functions' API with that additional parameter and update all users.
Pass NULL if a user builds an array itself from single GPIOs.

Janusz Krzysztofik b9762bebc6 gpiolib: Pass bitmaps, not integer arrays, to get/set array
Most users of get/set array functions iterate consecutive bits of data,
usually a single integer, while processing array of results obtained
from, or building an array of values to be passed to those functions.
Save time wasted on those iterations by changing the functions' API to
accept bitmaps.

All current users are updated as well.

More benefits from the change are expected as soon as planned support
for accepting/passing those bitmaps directly from/to respective GPIO
chip callbacks if applicable is implemented.

Kees Cook a86854d0c5 treewide: devm_kzalloc() -> devm_kcalloc()
The devm_kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, devm_kcalloc().
This patch replaces cases of:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, a * b, gfp)

with:
        devm_kcalloc(handle, a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        devm_kcalloc(handle, array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, 4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

Some manual whitespace fixes were needed in this patch, as Coccinelle
really liked to write "=devm_kcalloc..." instead of "= devm_kcalloc...".

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

Wolfram Sang 03828ceee6 Merge branch 'i2c-mux/for-next' of https://github.com/peda-r/i2c-mux into i2c/for-4.18
This time around we have mostly trivial changes. However, there are
also a couple of "real" patches improving a few aspects of the
demux-pinctrl behavior and we also actually reset pca954x chips on
probe when we have the ability to do so.

Wolfram Sang 5a9dcd8190 i2c: mux: demux-pinctrl: use proper parent device for demux adapter
Due to a typo, the wrong parent device was assigned to the newly created
demuxing adapter device. It got connected to the demuxing platform
device but not to the selected parent I2C adapter device. Fix it to get
a proper parent-child relationship of the demuxed busses.

Mike Looijmans a2f8445d4c i2c: mux: pca954x: force reset on probe if available
Instead of just hogging the reset GPIO into deactivated state, activate and
then de-activate the reset. This allows for better recovery if the CPU was
reset halfway through an I2C transaction for example.

Wolfram Sang fca700d6d2 i2c: mux: demux-pinctrl: disable PM user interface
The demux device is only a logical device with no children. So, no
RuntimePM is needed, let's disable the sysfs interface for it.
