Peter Maydell 4f2b82f604 target/arm: Reinstate bogus AArch32 DBGDTRTX register for migration compat
In commit 655659a74a we fixed some bugs in the encoding of the
Debug Communications Channel registers, including that we were
incorrectly exposing an AArch32 register at p14, 3, c0, c5, 0.

Unfortunately removing a register is a break of forwards migration
compatibility for TCG, because we will fail the migration if the
source QEMU passes us a cpreg which the destination QEMU does not
have. We don't have a mechanism for saying "it's OK to ignore this
sysreg in the inbound data", so for the 10.1 release reinstate the
incorrect AArch32 register.

(We probably have had other cases in the past of breaking migration
compatibility like this, but we didn't notice because we didn't test
and in any case not that many people care about TCG migration
compatibility. KVM migration compat is not affected because for KVM
we treat the kernel as the source of truth for what system registers
are present.)

Peter Maydell 655659a74a target/arm: Correct encoding of Debug Communications Channel registers
We don't implement the Debug Communications Channel (DCC), but
we do attempt to provide dummy versions of its system registers
so that software that tries to access them doesn't fall over.

However, we got the tx/rx register definitions wrong. These
should be:

AArch32:
  DBGDTRTX   p14 0 c0 c5 0  (on writes)
  DBGDTRRX   p14 0 c0 c5 0  (on reads)

AArch64:
  DBGDTRTX_EL0  2 3 0 5 0 (on writes)
  DBGDTRRX_EL0  2 3 0 5 0 (on reads)
  DBGDTR_EL0    2 3 0 4 0 (reads and writes)

where DBGDTRTX and DBGDTRRX are effectively different names for the
same 32-bit register, which has tx behaviour on writes and rx
behaviour on reads. The AArch64-only DBGDTR_EL0 is a 64-bit wide
register whose top and bottom halves map to the DBGDTRRX and DBGDTRTX
registers.

Currently we have just one cpreg struct, which:
 * calls itself DBGDTR_EL0
 * uses the DBGDTRTX_EL0/DBGDTRRX_EL0 encoding
 * is marked as ARM_CP_STATE_BOTH but has the wrong opc1
   value for AArch32
 * is implemented as RAZ/WI

Correct the encoding so:
 * we name the DBGDTRTX/DBGDTRRX register correctly
 * we split it into AA64 and AA32 versions so we can get the
   AA32 encoding right
 * we implement DBGDTR_EL0 at its correct encoding

Peter Maydell cc503abf4b target/arm: Make dummy debug registers RAZ, not NOP
In debug_helper.c we provide a few dummy versions of
debug registers:
 * DBGVCR (AArch32 only): enable bits for vector-catch
   debug events
 * MDCCINT_EL1: interrupt enable bits for the DCC
   debug communications channel
 * DBGVCR32_EL2: the AArch64 accessor for the state in
   DBGVCR

We implemented these only to stop Linux crashing on startup,
but we chose to implement them as ARM_CP_NOP. This worked
for Linux where it only cares about trying to write to these
registers, but is very confusing behaviour for anything that
wants to read the registers (perhaps for context state switches),
because the destination register will be left with whatever
random value it happened to have before the read.

Model these registers instead as RAZ.

Peter Maydell 2d60f1acdb target/arm: Use CP_ACCESS_TRAP_EL1 for traps that are always to EL1
We currently use CP_ACCESS_TRAP in a number of access functions where
we know we're currently at EL0; in this case the "usual target EL"
is EL1, so CP_ACCESS_TRAP and CP_ACCESS_TRAP_EL1 behave the same.
Use CP_ACCESS_TRAP_EL1 to more closely match the pseudocode for
this sort of check.

Note that in the case of the access functions foc cacheop to
PoC or PoU, the code was correct but the comment was wrong:
SCTLR_EL1.UCI traps for DC CVAC, DC CIVAC, DC CVAP, DC CVADP,
DC CVAU and IC IVAU should be system access traps, not UNDEFs.

Peter Maydell 4d436fb05c target/arm: Honour SDCR.TDCC and SCR.TERR in AArch32 EL3 non-Monitor modes
There are not many traps in AArch32 which should trap to Monitor
mode, but these trap bits should trap not just lower ELs to Monitor
mode but also the non-Monitor modes running at EL3 (i.e. Secure
System, Secure Undef, etc).

We get this wrong because the relevant access functions implement the
AArch64-style logic of
   if (el < 3 && trap_bit_set) {
       return CP_ACCESS_TRAP_EL3;
   }
which won't trap the non-Monitor modes at EL3.

Correct this error by using arm_is_el3_or_mon() instead, which
returns true when the CPU is at AArch64 EL3 or AArch32 Monitor mode.
(Since the new callsites are compiled also for the linux-user mode,
we need to provide a dummy implementation for CONFIG_USER_ONLY.)

This affects only:
 * trapping of ERRIDR via SCR.TERR
 * trapping of the debug channel registers via SDCR.TDCC
 * trapping of GICv3 registers via SCR.IRQ and SCR.FIQ
   (which we already used arm_is_el3_or_mon() for)

This patch changes the handling of SCR.TERR and SDCR.TDCC. This
patch only changes guest-visible behaviour for "-cpu max" on
the qemu-system-arm binary, because SCR.TERR
and SDCR.TDCC (and indeed the entire SDCR register) only arrived
in Armv8, and the only guest CPU we support which has any v8
features and also starts in AArch32 EL3 is the 32-bit 'max'.

Other uses of CP_ACCESS_TRAP_EL3 don't need changing:

 * uses in code paths that can't happen when EL3 is AArch32:
   access_trap_aa32s_el1, cpacr_access, cptr_access, nsacr_access
 * uses which are in accessfns for AArch64-only registers:
   gt_stimer_access, gt_cntpoff_access, access_hxen, access_tpidr2,
   access_smpri, access_smprimap, access_lor_ns, access_pauth,
   access_mte, access_tfsr_el2, access_scxtnum, access_fgt
 * trap bits which exist only in the AArch64 version of the
   trap register, not the AArch32 one:
   access_tpm, pmreg_access, access_dbgvcr32, access_tdra,
   access_tda, access_tdosa (TPM, TDA and TDOSA exist only in
   MDCR_EL3, not in SDCR, and we enforce this in sdcr_write())

Mark up the cpreginfo structs to indicate offsets for system
registers from VNCR_EL2, as defined in table D8-66 in rule R_CSRPQ in

Many (but not all) of the registers in this range have _EL12 aliases,
and the slot in memory is shared between the _EL12 version of the
register and the _EL1 version. Where we programmatically generate
the regdef for the _EL12 register, arrange that its
nv2_redirect_offset is set up correctly to do this.

Peter Maydell 83aea11db0 target/arm: Make EL2 cpreg accessfns safe for FEAT_NV EL1 accesses
FEAT_NV and FEAT_NV2 will allow EL1 to attempt to access cpregs that
only exist at EL2. This means we're going to want to run their
accessfns when the CPU is at EL1. In almost all cases, the behaviour
we want is "the accessfn returns OK if at EL1".

Mostly the accessfn already does the right thing; in a few cases we
need to explicitly check that the EL is not 1 before applying various
trap controls, or split out an accessfn used both for an _EL1 and an
_EL2 register into two so we can handle the FEAT_NV case correctly
for the _EL2 register.

There are two registers where we want the accessfn to trap for
a FEAT_NV EL1 access: VSTTBR_EL2 and VSTCR_EL2 should UNDEF
an access from NonSecure EL1, not trap to EL2 under FEAT_NV.
The way we have written sel2_access() already results in this
behaviour.

We can identify the registers we care about here because they
all have opc1 == 4 or 5.

Peter Maydell 5d78893f39 target/arm: Special case M-profile in debug_helper.c code
A lot of the code called from helper_exception_bkpt_insn() is written
assuming A-profile, but we will also call this helper on M-profile
CPUs when they execute a BKPT insn. This used to work by accident,
but recent changes mean that we will hit an assert when some of this
code calls down into lower level functions that end up calling
arm_security_space_below_el3(), arm_el_is_aa64(), and other functions
that now explicitly assert that the guest CPU is not M-profile.

Handle M-profile directly to avoid the assertions:
 * in arm_debug_target_el(), M-profile debug exceptions always
   go to EL1
 * in arm_debug_exception_fsr(), M-profile always uses the short
   format FSR (compare commit d7fe699be5, though in this case
   the code in arm_v7m_cpu_do_interrupt() does not need to
   look at the FSR value at all)
