Per the PCI spec 3.0, in section 6.2.5.1, "Address Maps":
A 32-bit register can be implemented to support a single
memory size that is a power of 2 from 16 bytes to 2 GB.
Add a check in nvme_init_pmr(), returning an error if the
PMR region size is too small; and update the QTest.

Coverity complains about a possible copy-paste error in the verification
of the namespace atomic parameters (CID 1642811). While the check is
correct, the code (and the intention) is unclear.
Fix this by reworking how the parameters are verified. Peter also
identified that the realize function was not correctly erroring out if
parameters were misconfigured, so fix that too.
Lastly, change the error messages to be more describing.

Add support for the namespace atomic boundary paramters: NABO, NABSN, and NABSPF.
Writes that cross an atomic boundary whose size is less than or equal to values
reported by AWUN/AWUPF are guaranteed to be atomic. If AWUN/AWUPF is set to zero,
writes that cross an atomic boundary are not guaranteed to be atomic.
The value reported by NABO field indicates the LBA on this namespace where the
first atomic boundary starts.

This patch extends the existing support we have for NVMe with only DoE
to also add support to SPDM over the NVMe Security Send/Recv commands.
With the new definition of the `spdm-trans` argument, users can specify
`spdm_trans=nvme` or `spdm_trans=doe`. This allows us to select the SPDM
transport respectively. SPDM over the NVMe Security Send/Recv commands
are defined in the DMTF DSP0286.

Starting with commit cab1398a60, SR-IOV VFs are realized as soon as
pcie_sriov_pf_init() is called. Because pcie_sriov_pf_init() must be
called before pcie_sriov_pf_init_vf_bar(), the VF BARs types won't be
known when the VF realize function calls pcie_sriov_vf_register_bar().
This breaks the memory regions of the VFs (for instance with igbvf):
$ lspci
...
Region 0: Memory at 281a00000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [virtual] [size=16K]
Region 3: Memory at 281a20000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [virtual] [size=16K]
$ info mtree

0000000081a00000-0000000081a03fff (prio 1, i/o): igbvf-mmio
0000000081a20000-0000000081a23fff (prio 1, i/o): igbvf-msix
and causes MMIO accesses to fail:
Invalid write at addr 0x281A01520, size 4, region '(null)', reason: rejected
Invalid read at addr 0x281A00C40, size 4, region '(null)', reason: rejected
To fix this, VF BARs are now registered with pci_register_bar() which
has a type parameter and pcie_sriov_vf_register_bar() is removed.

The emulated device had let the user set whatever max transfers size
they wanted, including no limit. However the device does have an
internal limit of 1024 segments. NVMe doesn't report max segments,
though. This is implicitly inferred based on the MDTS and MPSMIN values.
IOV_MAX is currently 1024 which 4k PRPs can exceed with 2MB transfers.
Don't allow MDTS values that can exceed this, otherwise users risk
seeing "internal error" status to their otherwise protocol compliant
commands.

Commit cd59f50ab0 ("hw/nvme: always initialize a subsystem") causes
the controller to always set the CMIC.MCTRS ("Multiple Controllers")
bit. While spec-compliant, this is a deviation from the previous
behavior where this was only set if an nvme-subsys device was explicitly
created (to configure a subsystem with multiple controllers/namespaces).
Revert the behavior to only set CMIC.MCTRS if an nvme-subsys device is
created explicitly.

The 'nvme_map_sgl' method has a 256 element array used for copying
data from the device. Skip the automatic zero-init of this array
to eliminate the performance overhead in the I/O hot path.
The 'segment' array will be fully initialized when reading data from
the device.
The 'nme_changed_nslist' method has a 4k byte array that is manually
initialized with memset(). The compiler ought to be intelligent
enough to turn the memset() into a static initialization operation,
and thus not duplicate the automatic zero-init. Replacing memset()
with '{}' makes it unambiguous that the array is statically initialized.

if no status code has explicitly been set by the lower handlers, default
