290f5e6d82 Miscellaneous fixes for Clang on windows
These changes allow UE4 to compile and run (in Debug) on Clang 3.7 alpha (r231657 only!)
  - Disabled editor source file discovery (crashes with Clang currently)
  - Disabled FThreadIdleStats in UnrealHeaderTool with Clang on Windows (causes link errors due to inlining bugs with Clang and DLL imports)
  - Use MSVC linker by default, even when compiling with Clang (can be tweaked with bAllowClangLinker)
  - Enabled shadow variable warnings on Windows with Clang
  - Limited max size of reflection code source files (Clang on Windows crashes with huge source files)
  - Fixed UE4 deprecation warnings not showing up when using Clang on Windows
  - Make sure initialization list order only triggers a warning on Clang for Windows

Other changes:
  - Fixed issues with pushed pragmas not getting popped (PRAGMA_ENABLE_DEPRECATION_WARNINGS)
  - Removed EMIT_DEPRECATED_WARNING_MESSAGE, wasn't used
  - Fixed various third party library includes not being treated as system headers (prevents compiler warnings)

To test Clang on Windows (beta!!):

- Get latest UE4 main branch (4.9)

- Install LLVM+Clang for Windows version r231657. It's a quick install, you don't need to compile anything yourself.

- Open UEBuildWindows.cs, and change bCompileWithClang to true. Be careful not to check that in. We'll probably make this config-driven later, after the Clang toolchain gets more mature.

- Switch to Debug Editor configuration. (See below for more info.)

- Rebuild the game or engine

Notes:

- You must use Clang r231657 (3.7.0 alpha). There are no other releases that I've found that are able to compile UE4 successfully. Most of the newer releases crash during compiling, and older releases aren't able to digest Windows header files well enough.

- Compiling in Development currently will not work due to bugs with Clangs handling of inlining and DLL exports. Monolithic builds should work, though.

- Occasionally you may see runtime crashes (stack overflows or access violations) when running UE4 compiled with Clang on Windows. These may very well be bugs in Clang (remember, we're using an alpha release of Clang 3.7.0.) Unfortunately without better debugger support, it can be difficult to workaround these

- When debugging, you will only have functions and line numbers, no variables or parameters. Clang only has preliminary support for Microsoft's PDB format currently.
XGE is fully supported with Clang on Windows. Best case rebuild times I've seen are 3.5 minutes in Debug.

- Shared PCHs aren't supported yet (similar to on Mac and Linux), so iterative compile times may be slower compared to Visual C++. However the Clang compiler is actually quite fast for rebuilds, probably because of missing debug info though.

- There may be some compiler warnings that are different between Mac/Linux and Windows. We haven't done a line-by-line comparison yet.

- Build products and executables for Clang and VC++ overlap on disk. So you have to rebuild to switch back and forth. Sorry.

- Clang on Windows has a few bugs that we've had to work around. You might see some strange things from time to time. Every new release of Clang has different behavior on Windows.

- We still use the VC++ Linker, even when compiling using Clang. The new Clang linker (lld.exe) can be enabled with bAllowClangLinker but it will crash when linking some modules. It also doesn't produce usable debug symbols by Visual Studio (yet).

3d878d5a79 PR #996: Fixing PVS-Studio warnings (Contributed by PaulEremeeff)
I have reviewed each change carefully, but it is a large change and I could have missed something! Here is a summary of the types of changes in this CL:
 * Made nullptr checks consistent (the plurality of the changes are of this type)
 * Completed switch statements (IE, switch did not explicitly handle default case, but had unhandled enum entries - this is the second most popular type of fix)
 * Removed unused variables
 * Removed redundant initializations
 * WidgetNavigationCustomization.cpp was fixed by the owner
 * integers converted to floats where result was stored in a float
 * Removed redundent null checks (e.g. before delete statements)
 * Renamed variables to prevent non-obvious shadowing
 * Fixed use of bitwise & when checking for equality to an enum entry (which is often 0)
 * Fixes for some copy paste errors (e.g. FoliageEdMode.cpp)

88751c6da8 Rewritten debug symbol handling for OS X to allow creation of dSYM bundles & symbol stripping of executables.
- The MacToolChain will emit dSYMs and strip executables when the UBT configuration enables bGeneratedSYMFile, just like iOS.
- Symbol stripping requires generating dSYMs to prevent creation of non-debuggable builds whose crash reports would be unresolvable.
- To avoid a dependency on the Private framework CoreSymbolication all symbols from that framework are loaded dynamically & can only be used within programs, not the game or the editor, as CoreSymbolication is incompatible with non-ANSI malloc implementations.
- Added an initial platform-agnostic API for querying debug symbol info, including a generic database format that can be queried on otherwise incompatible platforms.
- Added UnrealAtoS that emulates Apple's atos to resolve symbols using the generic database or the platform API (CoreSymbolication on OS X) which on OS X is used by the editor to gather symbol info for CodeView.
- Added DSymExporter which will export Apple debug symbol data from Mach-O binaries, including the payload within a .dSYM bundle, to the generic format so that the crash report server may one day read the data without needing a Mac to symbolicate reports.
- Initial SymbolDebugger & MinidumpDiagnostics support on OS X.

e0ff796744 [INTEGRATE] Change 2428300 by Jamie.Dale@Pitbull_JDaleReleases on 2015/02/02 12:25:57
Added a way to use DTE to add new files directly into VS without having to generate projects

This avoids the annoying "Do you want to reload?" dialog that appears in VS when projects are externally changed, and also saves us the cost/time of having to run UBT to generate projects.

55c3728d11 Added support for showing game and engine classes in the Content Browser
UE-7184 - Show game c++ classes and engine c++ classes in the content browser

The Content Browser now has extra entries for "Game C++ Classes" and "Engine C++ Classes" (with "Game" and "Engine" being renamed to "Game Content" and "Engine Content" respectively). These new folders serve as hosts for the list of available C++ modules, with each module internally mirroring the folder structure on disk.

For example:
- Game C++ Classes
    - ShooterGame
        - Classes
            - Bots
                - ShooterBot
                - ShooterAIController
                - [...]
            - [...]

The Content Browser allows you to navigate and search these classes like you can with assets, and provides convenient access to either edit an existing class, or create a new class (either within a selected folder, or derived from a selected class).

As the Content Browser only shows you known UClass types, any new classes need to be compiled into a loaded module before they will appear. This means that adding a new class will now automatically hot-reload your target module. Should you prefer to handle building and loading your modules manually, you can disable the automatic hot-reload via "Editor Settings" -> "Miscellaneous" -> "Hot Reload" -> "Automatically Hot Reload New Classes" (see UEditorUserSettings::bAutomaticallyHotReloadNewClasses).

8c7348dc9b Replaced the "Get Visual Studio" hyperlink in the SNewProjectWizard and SNewClassDialog with an "Install Visual Studio" button on Windows
- Added IDesktopPlatform::GetUserTempPath() and implemented it for windows
- Created SGetSuggestedIDEWidget class that handles whether to show a "Download X" hyperlink vs. an "Install X" button (depending on whether the platform supports on-demand installation)
- Analytics event added ("Editor.Usage.InstalledIDE") that fires whenever the "Install X" button is clicked
- Changed SourceCodeIDEURL_Windows in BaseEditor.ini from the VSC 2013 web page link to the installer download link (need to replace with perma-link once we have it)

31e2bb00ac Removed a bunch of stuff from Slate standard include, created SlateBasics.h
* Moved Slate.h into SlateBasics.h and began shifting less commonly used headers into SlateExtras.h.
* Slate.h now simply includes SlateBasics.h and SlateExtras.h.
* Slate.h includes a deprecated warning now to indicate that SlateBasics.h + specific includes should be used instead.
* Moved dozens of inlined functions using Slate widgets into .cpp files to avoid header dependencies.
* All code samples now include SlateBasics.h and SlateExtras.h so future shifts will not break most those projects, but not trigger the deprecation warning of including Slate.h.

017837289f Modules: Module Manager API cleanup pass
There is now a consistent set of methods for module loading, unloading and lookup that all behave in the same expected way.

- renamed GetModuleInterface to GetModule and made it not assert
- removed GetModuleInterfaceRef
- namespace enums to enum classes, NULL to nullptr
- moved important public methods to the top, so they're easier to discover
- added missing & improved existing documentation
- cleaned up existing use cases
