4d29196c53 at24: Use timeout also for read
Writes may take some time on EEPROMs, so for consecutive writes, we already
have a loop waiting for the EEPROM to become ready. Use such a loop for reads,
too, in case somebody wants to immediately read after a write. Detailed bug
report and test case can be found here:

6d4561110a sysctl: Drop & in front of every proc_handler.
For consistency drop & in front of every proc_handler. Explicity
taking the address is unnecessary and it prevents optimizations
like stubbing the proc_handlers to NULL.

d39b7dd1dc sgi-gru: decrapfiy options_write() function
Not a single line of actual code in the function was really
fundamentally correct.

Problems ranged from lack of proper range checking, to removing the last
character written (which admittedly is usually '\n'), to not accepting
hex numbers even though the 'show' routine would show the data in that
format.

This tries to do better.

ab69a5ae2b iwmc3200top: Add Intel Wireless MultiCom 3200 top driver.
This patch adds Intel Wireless MultiCom 3200 top driver.
IWMC3200 is 4Wireless Com CHIP (GPS/BT/WiFi/WiMAX).
Top driver is responsible for device initialization and firmware download.
Firmware handled by top is responsible for top itself and
as well as bluetooth and GPS coms. (Wifi and WiMax provide their own firmware)
In addition top driver is used to retrieve firmware logs
and supports other debugging features

b835d7fbd5 max6875: Discard obsolete detect method
There is no point in implementing a detect callback for the MAX6875, as
this device can't be detected. It was there solely to handle "force"
module parameters to instantiate devices, but now we have a better sysfs
interface that can do the same.

So we can get rid of the ugly module parameters and the detect callback.
This basically divides the binary module size by 2.
