Bill Wendling 4edab1a9e8 Fix a FIXME. _foo.eh symbols are currently always exported so that the linker 
knows about them. This is not necessary on 10.6 and later.

Chris Lattner 8048ebe91d the latest assembler that runs on powerpc 10.4 machines doesn't 
support aligned comm.  Detect when compiling for 10.4 and don't
emit an alignment for comm.  THis will hopefully fix PR8198.

Chris Lattner 1875ce4ad9 two changes: 
1) nuke ConstDataCoalSection, which is dead.
2) revise my previous patch for rdar://8018335,
  which was completely wrong.  Specifically, it doesn't 
  make sense to mark __TEXT,__const_coal as PURE_INSTRUCTIONS,
  because it is for readonly data.  templates (it turns out)
  go to const_coal_nt.  The real fix for rdar://8018335 was
  to give ConstTextCoalSection a section kind of ReadOnly 
  instead of Text.

Chris Lattner 6a624a65f4 fix the definitions of ConstTextCoalSection/ConstDataCoalSection 
to keep "Text" in sync with the "pure instructions" section attribute.
Lack of this attribute was preventing the assembler from emitting
multibyte noops instructions for templates (and inlines, and other
coalesced stuff) and was causing the assembler to mismatch .o files.

This fixes rdar://8018335

Anton Korobeynikov 36335be3b9 Fix a major regression on COFF targets introduced by r103267: 'discardable' section means that it is used only during the program load and can be discarded afterwards. 
This way *only* debug sections can be discarded, but not the opposite. Seems like the copy-and-pasto from ELF code, since there it contains the reverse flag ('alloc').

Bill Wendling 207855cff9 Introducing the "linker_weak" linkage type. This will be used for Objective-C 
metadata types which should be marked as "weak", but which the linker will
remove upon final linkage. For example, the "objc_msgSend_fixup_alloc" symbol is
defined like this:

       .globl l_objc_msgSend_fixup_alloc
       .weak_definition l_objc_msgSend_fixup_alloc
       .section __DATA, __objc_msgrefs, coalesced
       .align 3
l_objc_msgSend_fixup_alloc:
        .quad   _objc_msgSend_fixup
        .quad   L_OBJC_METH_VAR_NAME_1

This is different from the "linker_private" linkage type, because it can't have
the metadata defined with ".weak_definition".

Chris Lattner f0559e4b24 move macho section uniquing from MCParser and TLOF to MCContext where 
the compiler and asmparser now unique to the same sections.  This fixes
rdar://7835021.

Chris Lattner 9b97a73ded Rip out the 'is temporary' nonsense from the MCContext interface to 
create symbols.  It is extremely error prone and a source of a lot
of the remaining integrated assembler bugs on x86-64.

This fixes rdar://7807601.

Chris Lattner 1f8008cf21 fix MCSectionELF to not leak memory, just like I did for MCSymbol. 
MCSectionMachO is already fine (yay for fixed size arrays?),
MCSectionCOFF still leaks.
