Cameron Zwarich d959da92a5 Remove some checks for StrongPHIElim. These checks make it impossible to use an
alternative register allocator that does not require LiveIntervals by specifying
it on the command-line for a target that has StrongPHIElimination enabled by
default.

These checks are pretty meaningless anyways, since StrongPHIElimination and
PHIElimination are never used at the same time.

Owen Anderson 081c34b725 Get rid of static constructors for pass registration. Instead, every pass exposes an initializeMyPassFunction(), which
must be called in the pass's constructor. This function uses static dependency declarations to recursively initialize
the pass's dependencies.

Clients that only create passes through the createFooPass() APIs will require no changes. Clients that want to use the
CommandLine options for passes will need to manually call the appropriate initialization functions in PassInitialization.h
before parsing commandline arguments.

I have tested this with all standard configurations of clang and llvm-gcc on Darwin. It is possible that there are problems
with the static dependencies that will only be visible with non-standard options. If you encounter any crash in pass
registration/creation, please send the testcase to me directly.

Owen Anderson 2ab36d3502 Begin adding static dependence information to passes, which will allow us to
perform initialization without static constructors AND without explicit initialization
by the client. For the moment, passes are required to initialize both their
(potential) dependencies and any passes they preserve. I hope to be able to relax
the latter requirement in the future.

Owen Anderson 9ccaf53ada Don't use PassInfo* as a type identifier for passes. Instead, use the address of the static
ID member as the sole unique type identifier. Clean up APIs related to this change.

Jakob Stoklund Olesen 04c528a0c8 Remove many calls to TII::isMoveInstr. Targets should be producing COPY anyway.
TII::isMoveInstr is going tobe completely removed.

Jakob Stoklund Olesen e05442d508 Change TII::foldMemoryOperand API to require the machine instruction to be
inserted in a MBB, and return an already inserted MI.

This target API change is necessary to allow foldMemoryOperand to call
storeToStackSlot and loadFromStackSlot when folding a COPY to a stack slot
reference in a target independent way.

The foldMemoryOperandImpl hook is going to change in the same way, but I'll wait
until COPY folding is actually implemented. Most targets only fold copies and
won't need to specialize this hook at all.

Jakob Stoklund Olesen 15a571436d Don't track kills in VNInfo. Use interval ends instead.
The VNInfo.kills vector was almost unused except for all the code keeping it
updated. The few places using it were easily rewritten to check for interval
ends instead.

The two new methods LiveInterval::killedAt and killedInRange are replacements.

This brings us down to 3 independent data structures tracking kills.

Jakob Stoklund Olesen 9edf7deb37 Slightly change the meaning of the reMaterialize target hook when the original
instruction defines subregisters.

Any existing subreg indices on the original instruction are preserved or
composed with the new subreg index.

Also substitute multiple operands mentioning the original register by using the
new MachineInstr::substituteRegister() function. This is necessary because there
will soon be <imp-def> operands added to non read-modify-write partial
definitions. This instruction:

  %reg1234:foo = FLAP %reg1234<imp-def>

will reMaterialize(%reg3333, bar) like this:

  %reg3333:bar-foo = FLAP %reg333:bar<imp-def>

Finally, replace the TargetRegisterInfo pointer argument with a reference to
indicate that it cannot be NULL.

Evan Cheng 1015ba7018 - Change MachineInstr::findRegisterDefOperandIdx so it can also look for defs
that are aliases of the specified register.
- Rename modifiesRegister to definesRegister since it's looking a def of the
specific register or one of its super-registers. It's not looking for def of a
sub-register or alias that could change the specified register.
- Added modifiesRegister to look for defs of aliases.

Lang Hames 74ab5eeffb Changed slot index ranges for MachineBasicBlocks to be exclusive of endpoint.
This fixes an in-place update bug where code inserted at the end of basic blocks may not be covered by existing intervals which were live across the entire block. It is also consistent with the way ranges are specified for live intervals.
