UPDATE_APP (native builds; craft-update is a native-only dependency) carries our 128 px icon and accent (#f07a1e, its colour in ArtCraft Launcher). The updater, the self-update
helper and craft-update's startup prompt all get them through crate::UPDATE_APP; the
prompt draws the icon, the accent and "by ArtCraft" (craft-update's default developer).
craft-update is pinned to storytold/craft-libs main at 1065653e7 (#434).

`deckcraft-cli bench` capped the "export .pdf" step at three runs while
its help promises the median of N runs for every step. Use --runs for
it too, so a PDF export benchmark can take enough samples to beat noise.

* fix(windows): keep the shortcut icon after an update (#1114)
The MSI's Start menu shortcut took its icon from the WiX <Icon>, which Windows
Installer caches under %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Installer\{ProductCode}\. Every
update is a major upgrade with a new ProductCode, so the old folder is deleted.
A taskbar pin is a copy of the shortcut that the update never touches, so it
kept pointing at the deleted file and lost its icon.
Drop the Icon from the shortcut so it shows the icon embedded in deckcraft.exe,
whose path survives updates. The <Icon> stays for ARPPRODUCTICON. A test keeps
shortcuts from naming an MSI icon again.

* fix(windows): make the Start menu shortcut non-advertised (#1114)
Addresses the review comment: without an MSI Icon, a non-advertised shortcut
targets the installed exe directly and takes its embedded icon.

* fix(windows): package.ps1 rejects a deckcraft.exe with no embedded icon (#1114)
The shortcuts now take the exe's own icon, and -SkipBuild packages an existing
exe that may come from a build without DECKCRAFT_REQUIRE_WINRES=1. Count its
icons with ExtractIconEx and stop before WiX when there are none.

* feat: startup update prompt modal and direct self-updating
Ref: storytold/craft-libs#319
* build: pin craft-update to craft-libs main (b9ba47f) and refresh the lock
* refactor(updates): drive the flow with craft-update's Updater
Results are read independent of the prompt, a dropped worker is an error, failures return to the prompt, and no update starts over unsaved work. A manual check during the startup check is honored.
* egui037-20261022: migrate DeckCraft to egui 0.37
Preserve current-main document and PDF behavior alongside the reviewed input, capture, font, ribbon and notice-packaging migration.
Validation: cargo xtask ci passed all eight stages, with 1,877 workspace tests and three doctests passed, six tests ignored, strict native lint and 23 WASM crates checked. Native GUI, platform and performance qualification remains separate.
* E21: restore Latin coverage and enforce required font inputs
* Fix migration review findings in font validation and UI controls
* M-egui037: document UI lifecycle and regression contracts
The accepting thread drained each connection it refused as busy for up
to 250 ms before accepting the next, so refused peers that stayed
connected without writing delayed every connection after them. Each
drain now runs on a thread of its own, up to 16 at once; past that, a
refused connection gets the busy reply and is closed without a drain.
connection_limit_refuses_then_frees_slot now uses a 30 s idle timeout:
its first client sends nothing, and under load the 300 ms timeout
closed it before the third client connected.
When every connection slot was taken, the accepting thread wrote the busy
reply and dropped the socket. A peer that had already written a line saw a
reset instead of the reason. The busy path now closes the same way a
rejected line does: it sends the FIN and drains the socket for at most
250 ms, or the write timeout when that is shorter.
The drain set its read timeout on the writing handle and read through a
clone of the socket. On Windows, a read timeout set on one handle of a
try_clone pair can fail to apply to reads through the other. On Windows 11
a rejected peer that stayed connected then kept its slot until the idle
timeout (10 minutes by default) instead of the write timeout. The timeout
is now set on the handle that reads.
Two tests failed intermittently. a_pipelined_peer_still_reads_why_its_line_was_rejected
connected 12 peers through 2 slots, and a slot comes back only after the
thread serving the previous peer ends; each peer now has a slot of its own.
blocked_ui_times_out_and_full_queue_is_busy relied on a 50 ms sleep to
order two requests from two connections; it now accepts either order.
Skipped where the receiver type is generic or not evident without a compiler (wrapping_neg, total_cmp, exists, to_vec, as_ref, split_first, Option::into_inner).
