a7e2ca1703 Revert "drivers/misc/ti-st: remove gpio handling"
This reverts commit eccf2979b2.

The reason is that it broke TI WiLink shared transport on Panda.
Also, callback functions should not be added to board files anymore,
so revert to implementing the power functions in the driver itself.

Additionally, changed a variable name ('status' to 'err') so that this
revert compiles properly.

36e7a96ceb Merge tag 'sound-3.8' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tiwai/sound
Pull second round of sound fixes from Takashi Iwai:
"Yet a few more fixes popped up in this week.

The biggest change here is the addition of pinctrl support for Atmel,
which turned out to be almost mandatory to make things working.

The rest are a few fixes for M-Audio usb-audio device and a fix for
regression of HD-audio HDMI codecs with alsactl in the recent kernel."

e6028db014 mei: fix mismatch in mutex unlock-lock in mei_amthif_read()
Users of mei_amthif_read() expect it leaves dev->device_lock held,
while there is a path where mei_amthif_read() unlocks device_lock
and returns -ERESTARTSYS.

The patch move code locking device_lock back before the return.

891348ca0f SGI-XP: handle non-fatal traps
We found a user code which was raising a divide-by-zero trap. That trap
would lead to XPC connections between system-partitions being torn down
due to the die_chain notifier callouts it received.

This also revealed a different issue where multiple callers into
xpc_die_deactivate() would all attempt to do the disconnect in parallel
which would sometimes lock up but often overwhelm the console on very
large machines as each would print at least one line of output at the
end of the deactivate.

I reviewed all the users of the die_chain notifier and changed the code
to ignore the notifier callouts for reasons which will not actually lead
to a system to continue on to call die().

d692170037 watchdog: mei: avoid oops in watchdog unregister code path
With commit c7d3df3 "mei: use internal watchdog device registration
tracking" will crash the kernel on shutdown path on systems
where ME watchdog is not present.
Since the watchdog was never initialized in such case
the WDOG_UNREGISTERED bit is never set and the system
crashes on access to uninitialized variables down the path.

To solve the issue we query for NULL on watchdog driver driver_data
to check whether the device is registered. This is handled in the
driver and doesn't depend on watchdog core internals.

046e7d685b Merge tag 'sound-3.8' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tiwai/sound
Pull sound updates from Takashi Iwai:
"This update contains a fairly wide range of changes all over in sound
subdirectory, mainly because of UAPI header moves by David and __dev*
annotation removals by Bill. Other highlights are:

   - Introduced the support for wallclock timestamps in ALSA PCM core

   - Add the poll loop implementation for HD-audio jack detection

   - Yet more VGA-switcheroo fixes for HD-audio

   - New VIA HD-audio codec support

   - More fixes on resource management in USB audio and MIDI drivers

   - More quirks for USB-audio ASUS Xonar U3, Reloop Play, Focusrite,
     Roland VG-99, etc

   - Add support for FastTrack C400 usb-audio

   - Clean ups in many drivers regarding firmware loading

   - Add PSC724 Ultiimate Edge support to ice1712

   - A few hdspm driver updates

   - New Stanton SCS.1d/1m FireWire driver

   - Standardisation of the logging in ASoC codes

   - DT and dmaengine support for ASoC Atmel

   - Support for Wolfson ADSP cores

   - New drivers for Freescale/iVeia P1022 and Maxim MAX98090

   - Lots of other ASoC driver fixes and developments"

Fix up trivial conflicts. And go out on a limb and assume the dts file
'status' field of one of the conflicting things was supposed to be
"disabled", not "disable" like in pretty much all other cases.
