3399cfb5df drivers/rtc/rtc-pl031.c: restore ST variant functionality
Commit e7e034e18a ("drivers/rtc/rtc-pl031.c: fix the missing operation
on enable") accidentally broke the ST variants of PL031.

The bit that is being poked as "clockwatch" enable bit for the ST
variants does the work of bit 0 on this variant. Bit 0 is used for a
clock divider on the ST variants, and setting it to 1 will affect
timekeeping in a very bad way.

e7e034e18a drivers/rtc/rtc-pl031.c: fix the missing operation on enable
The RTC control register should be enabled in the process of
initializing.

Without this patch, I failed to enable RTC in Hisilicon Hi3620 SoC. The
register mapping section in RTC is always read as zero. So I doubt that
ST guys may already enable this register in bootloader. So they won't
meet this issue.

72fca4a4b3 drivers/rtc/rtc-isl1208.c: call rtc_update_irq() from the alarm irq handler
Previously the alarm event was not propagated into the RTC subsystem.

3bdf8cd322 drivers/rtc/rtc-vt8500.c: fix year field in vt8500_rtc_set_time()

2f90b68309 drivers/rtc/rtc-vt8500.c: fix handling of data passed in struct rtc_time
tm_mon is 0..11, whereas vt8500 expects 1..12 for the month field,
causing invalid date errors for January, and causing the day field to
roll over incorrectly.

The century flag is only handled in vt8500_rtc_read_time, but not set in
vt8500_rtc_set_time. This patch corrects the behaviour of the century
flag.

5a167f4543 Drivers: rtc: remove __dev* attributes.
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.

This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata,
__devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers.

Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

5abe257af8 revert "rtc: recycle id when unloading a rtc driver"
Revert commit 2830a6d201.

We already perform the ida_simple_remove() in rtc_device_release(),
which is an appropriate place. Commit 2830a6d20 ("rtc: recycle id when
unloading a rtc driver") caused the kernel to emit

	ida_remove called for id=0 which is not allocated.

warnings when rtc_device_release() tries to release an alread-released
ID.

Let's restore things to their previous state and then work out why
Vincent's kernel wasn't calling rtc_device_release() - presumably a bug
in a specific sub-driver.

18c701a9db drivers/rtc/rtc-tps65910.c: enable RTC power domain on initialization
Enabling RTC HW block depends on the default value of TPS65910 register.
In some mode, RTC block is disabled by default.(eg. AM3517 Craneboard) In
this case, RTC_PWDN(RTC power down) bit should be cleared to enable the
RTC HW block.

This patch also works in case that RTC block is active by default, because
there is no side effect even if the bit is updated again.

Tested on AM3517 Craneboard.

c9f5c7e7a8 rtc: rtc-spear: Provide flag for no support of UIE mode
The applications can set the RTC hardware to trigger interrupts in one
of three modes:
    * AIE: Alarm interrupt
    * UIE: Update interrupt (ie: once per second)
    * PIE: Periodic interrupt (sub-second irqs)

The above defined 3 modes are to be supported in the RTC HW in form of
interrupts. The SPEAr RTC hardware does not support the later two modes.

There have been refinements in the RTC core in mainline related to
use of timer queue infrastructure to manage events in RTC. Please refer
the below mentioned patch for details:
	* RTC: Rework RTC code to use timerqueue for events
	* SHA ID: 6610e0893b

There have been provisions added to support hardware that do not have
support the UIE mode. Please refer the following patch.
	* rtc: Provide flag for rtc devices that don't support UIE
	* SHA ID: 4a649903f9

The patch makes use of the provision defined in the above patch to
update the hardware status of UIE mode.
