The functions time_before, time_before_eq, time_after, and time_after_eq are
more robust for comparing jiffies against other values.
So use the time_after() macro, defined in linux/jiffies.h, which deals with
wrapping correctl

show_mem() has no need to print the amount of free swap space manually because
show_free_areas() does this already and is called by the former.
The two outputs only differ in text formatting:
printk("Free swap = %lukB\n", ...);
printk("Free swap: %6ldkB\n", ...);

This replaces the duplicated arch-specific versions of "sys_pipe()" with
one unified implementation. This removes almost 250 lines of duplicated
code.
It's marked __weak, so that *if* an architecture wants to override the
default implementation it can do so by simply having its own replacement
version, since many architectures use alternate calling conventions for
the 'pipe()' system call for legacy reasons (ie traditional UNIX
implementations often return the two file descriptors in registers)
I still haven't changed the cris version even though Linus says the BKL
isn't needed. The arch maintainer can easily do it if there are really
no obstacles.

Almost all implementations of pci_iomap() in the kernel, including the generic
lib/iomap.c one, copies the content of a struct resource into unsigned long's
which will break on 32 bits platforms with 64 bits resources.
This fixes all definitions of pci_iomap() to use resource_size_t. I also
"fixed" the 64bits arch for consistency.

Filtering zonelists requires very frequent use of zone_idx(). This is costly
as it involves a lookup of another structure and a substraction operation. As
the zone_idx is often required, it should be quickly accessible. The node idx
could also be stored here if it was found that accessing zone->node is
significant which may be the case on workloads where nodemasks are heavily
used.
This patch introduces a struct zoneref to store a zone pointer and a zone
index. The zonelist then consists of an array of these struct zonerefs which
are looked up as necessary. Helpers are given for accessing the zone index as
well as the node index.

Currently a node has two sets of zonelists, one for each zone type in the
system and a second set for GFP_THISNODE allocations. Based on the zones
allowed by a gfp mask, one of these zonelists is selected. All of these
zonelists consume memory and occupy cache lines.
This patch replaces the multiple zonelists per-node with two zonelists. The
first contains all populated zones in the system, ordered by distance, for
fallback allocations when the target/preferred node has no free pages. The
second contains all populated zones in the node suitable for GFP_THISNODE
allocations.
An iterator macro is introduced called for_each_zone_zonelist() that interates
through each zone allowed by the GFP flags in the selected zonelist.

Use the generic pci_enable_resources() instead of the arch-specific code.
Unlike this arch-specific code, the generic version:
- checks PCI_NUM_RESOURCES (11), not DEVICE_COUNT_RESOURCE (12), resources
- skips resources that have neither IORESOURCE_IO nor IORESOURCE_MEM set
- skips ROM resources unless IORESOURCE_ROM_ENABLE is set
- checks for resource collisions with "!r->parent"

None of these files use any of the functionality promised by
asm/semaphore.h. It's possible that they rely on it dragging in some
unrelated header file, but I can't build all these files, so we'll have
fix any build failures as they come up.

Semaphores are no longer performance-critical, so a generic C
implementation is better for maintainability, debuggability and
extensibility. Thanks to Peter Zijlstra for fixing the lockdep
warning. Thanks to Harvey Harrison for pointing out that the
unlikely() was unnecessary.

When we show_regs, we obviously have a struct pt_regs of the calling
frame. Use these in show_stack so we don't have the entire bogus call trace
up to the show_stack call.
