versioned symbols are not available with cmake builds
all 93 exported symbols are available in the cmake libcurl.so
  nm -D curl-8.5.0/usr/lib/libcurl.so  | grep " T " | wc -l

cmake compiled curl -V matches configure compiled

$ curl-8.5.0/usr/bin/curl -V
