Bob Moore 7f4ac9f913 ACPICA: Fix for Load/LoadTable to specify load location
Fixed a problem with the Load and LoadTable operators where
the table location within the namespace was ignored. Instead,
the table was always loaded into the root or current scope.

Bob Moore 53cf174409 ACPICA: Fix for Alias operator to see target child objects
Fixed a problem with the Alias operator when the target of the
alias is a named ASL operator that opens a new scope -- Scope,
Device, PowerResource, Processor, and ThermalZone. In these cases,
any children of the original operator could not be accessed via
the alias, potentially causing unexpected AE_NOT_FOUND exceptions.

Lin Ming 3e08e2d2d6 ACPICA: New interfaces for table event handlers
Designed and implemented new external interfaces to install and
remove handlers for ACPI table-related events. Current events that
are defined are LOAD and UNLOAD. These interfaces allow the host to
track ACPI tables as they are dynamically loaded and unloaded. See
AcpiInstallTableHandler and AcpiRemoveTableHandler.

Bob Moore 4e3156b183 ACPICA: changed order of interpretation of operand objects

appear (both in the

 as being non-intuitive.

Len Brown 262a7a28de Revert "ACPICA: fix AML mutex re-entrancy"
This reverts commit c0d127b569.

These changes to AML locking were made to allow
Notify handlers to be called on the stack
and not deadlock. However, that scheme turns
out to be flawed and was reverted by the previous commit,
so this commit restores the locking to it previous design.

it is reverted in this order so that subsequent
reverts reverts under this one can be made
without conflict.

Alexey Starikovskiy c0d127b569 ACPICA: fix AML mutex re-entrancy
ACPI AML supports "serialized" methods which are protected
by an implicit mutex. The mutex is re-entrant for that AML thread
to allow recursion.

However, Linux implements notify() by creating a new AML thread.
So for systems where notify() re-enters a serialized method,
deadlock results.

The fix is to use the Linux thread_id as the key to allowing
re-entrancy, not the AML thread pointer.

Bob Moore 59fa85057e ACPICA: Removed all 16-bit support.
Support for 16-bit ACPICA has been completely removed since it is
no longer necessary and it clutters the code. All 16-bit macros,
types, and conditional compiles have been removed, cleaning up
and simplifying the code across the entire subsystem.
DOS support is no longer needed since the Linux firmware kit
is now available.
