Linus Torvalds 6b22df74f7 Merge tag 'scsi-misc' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jejb/scsi
Pull SCSI updates from James Bottomley:
"This patch set consists of the usual driver updates (ufs, storvsc,
pm8001 hpsa). It also has removal of the user space target driver
code (everyone is using LIO now), a partial PCI MSI-X update, more
multi-queue updates, conversion to 64 bit LUNs (so we could
theoretically cope with any LUN returned by a device) and placeholder
support for the ZBC device type (Shingle drives), plus an assortment
of minor updates and bug fixes"

Martin Schwidefsky 26d766c60f s390/3215: fix hanging console issue
The ccw_device_start in raw3215_start_io can fail. raw3215_try_io
does not check if the request could be started and removes any
pending timer. This can leave the system in a hanging state.
Check for pending request after raw3215_start_io and start a
timer if necessary.

events may flush format requests from the queue.

Sebastian Ott d445a4e28c s390/qeth: extract qdio buffers from output buffer struct
Because of the embedded qdio_buffer array struct qeth_qdio_out_q is
quite large resulting in an order 4 allocation. This is likely to
fail at runtime and wastes a lot of memory since the actual size is
just about 34K.

Since there is no need for this buffer to be contiguous split it up
using qdio buffer helpers.

Sebastian Ott 5245c924c2 s390/qdio: add helpers to manage qdio buffers
Users of qdio buffers employ different strategies to manage these
buffers. The qeth driver uses huge contiguous buffers which leads
to high order allocations with all their downsides.

This patch provides helpers to allocate, free, and reset arrays of
qdio buffers using non contiguous pages.

Martin Schwidefsky 7cbe4afe85 s390/3270: correct size detection with the read-partition command
The size detection for 3270 terminals with the read-partition command is
broken. The raw3270_reset_device_cb function clears the init_data array,
but if raw3270_writesf_readpart has been called the read-partition command
is queued which needs the init_data array. In this case the size detection
will fail and the invalid command does funny things to the terminal.
