Zorro Lang 794f4594fb fstests: filter redundant output by getfattr
When getfattr dumps values of all extended attributes (-d option),
it doesn't print empty extended attributes. e.g: user.name. But from
attr-2.4.48 this behavior is changed, new getfattr prints
user.name="".

The {=""} will break the golden image, so filter the redundant =""
at the end if it has.

Eric Biggers 74d977646c tests: port generic/097 to Linux
This IRIX-specific test did some basic testing of extended attributes.
Port it to Linux; this mainly involved updating it to use the 'getfattr'
and 'setfattr' programs instead 'attr'. Note that although 'attr' is
available on Linux, it's mainly for IRIX compatibility, the man page
recommends against using it on non-XFS filesystems, and it doesn't
support listing user xattrs only. (In the last point it actually
differs from IRIX 'attr', but probably no one cares anymore.) getfattr
also sorts its output by xattr name, so its output will be the same on
all filesystems unlike 'attr -l'.

Lukas Czerner 83ef157def common: Check fs consistency on TEST_DEV only when needed
Currently we're checking file system consistency on TEST_DEV after every
successful test run even though the TEST_DEV might not even be used in
that test.

Fix it by introducing _require_test to for the test ti indicate that
it's about to use TEST_DEV.

Also add _require_test to the new script so that this requirement is a
default.

Lukas Czerner ab1d756fe1 common: Check the file system consistency on SCRATCH_DEV
There are about 198 tests which requires scratch_dev, but does not check
the file system consistency afterwards. Xfstests infrastructure does not
do it automatically, so fix it by running _check_scratch_fs() after
each test that _require_scratch.

Also remove all the _check_scratch_fs() calls that are not actually needed
and will be covered by the check script.

Christoph Hellwig c041421687 xfstests: stop special casing nfs and udf
For historical reasons beyond my knowledge xfstests tries to abuse the
scratch device as test device for nfs and udf. Because not all test
have inherited the right usage of the _setup_testdir and _cleanup_testdir
helpers this leads to lots of unessecary test failures.

Remove the special casing, which gets nfs down to a minimal number of
failures.

Dave Chinner 8c4905a42e xfstests: introduce a common directory
Introduce a top level common directory and move all the common.*
files into it. Because there is now a directory named common, the
prefix can be dropped from all the files. Convert all the tests to
use this new directory for including common files.

for f in common.*; do \
	git mv `echo -n "$f " ; echo $f | sed -e 's;n\.;n/;'` \

Dave Chinner 401680a11c xfstests: fix _link_out_file callers
Currently the callers pass $seq, rather than the full path to the

and it points nowhere. Fix it to create the link in the correct
place.

Dave Chinner 1d5d46db80 xfstests: convert tests to use new results directory
Essentially the change is simply this. Converting:

... >> $seq.????

to:

.... >> $RESULT_DIR/$seq.????

so that output files are directed to the defined output directory.

sed to the rescue:

$ sed -i -e '/^seq=.*$/a seqres=$RESULT_DIR/$seq' -e 's/seq.full/seqres.full/' tests/*/*

will do most of the work automatically.
