The option parser in the btrfs utility is going to be updated and
will accept arguments in a stricter form, namely that options must
come before their non-option argument. Otherwise eg. the -f option
in send would be understood as another path and not an option
leading to many test failures.
The canonical form should be:
btrfs command subcommand [-options] [arguments]

/dev/urandom is incompressible and, /dev/zero is highly compressible,
so both are less effective in testing the compress code logic in btrfs.
This patch introduces a text data generator
cat /dev/urandom | od
to populate the files where /dev/urandom is currently being used in the
btrfs test cases.
And updates the _populate_fs() with a new option -c, so to instruct
to use the compressible data to populate the file(s).

Currently we're checking file system consistency on TEST_DEV after every
successful test run even though the TEST_DEV might not even be used in
that test.
Fix it by introducing _require_test to for the test ti indicate that
it's about to use TEST_DEV.
Also add _require_test to the new script so that this requirement is a
default.

To avoid repeating detection of fssum presence in many btrfs tests, as
suggested by Dave Chinner.
Also exported the variable "here" from the main control script, to avoid
repeating its declaration in every single testcase file. Also removed the
declaration of "here" from btrfs test cases that require the fssum program
only. Removing it from all other test cases will be a separate change.

I recently added a patch to avoid sending holes with btrfs send, but I screwed
it up by not sending a hole when we did a hole punch. This is an xfstest
version of the test I wrote to show that I had a bug and to verify I was fixing
it properly. This test properly fails with my old patch and passes with my good
patch. Thanks,
