Misono, Tomohiro 948b1881f6 fstests: filter test and scratch together safely
Several tests uses both _filter_test_dir and _filter_scratch
concatenated by pipe to filter $TEST_DIR and $SCRATCH_MNT. However,
this would fail if the shorter string is a substring of the other
(like "/mnt" and "/mnt2").

This patch introduces new common filter function to safely call both
_filter_test_dir and _filter_scratch, and update tests and functions
to use this new function.

I checked this with btrfs/029, generic/409,410,411, and
generic/381,383, xfs/106,108 (which calls _filter_quota). Thanks
Eryu for advice.

Ilya Dryomov 85c9af689b fstests: don't _require_metadata_journaling before _scratch_mkfs
This is obviously wrong and makes ./check -r skip over tests on ext4
with "ext4 on $DEV not configured with metadata journaling".

Lu Fengqi 4dbba416d9 btrfs/142: enhance regression test for nocsum dio read's repair
I catch this following error from dmesg when this testcase fails.

[17446.661127] Buffer I/O error on dev sdb1, logical block 64, async page read

We expect to inject disk IO errors on the device when xfs_io reads
the specific file, but other processes may trigger IO error earlier.
So, we can use task-filter to solve this problem.

Filipe Manana 80bd724d02 btrfs: test incremental send with compression and extent cloning
Test that an incremental send/receive operation will not fail when the
destination filesystem has compression enabled and the source filesystem
has a 4K extent at a file offset 0 that is not compressed and that is
shared.

This currently fails on btrfs and is fixed by the following patch for the
linux kernel:

  "Btrfs: incremental send, fix emission of invalid clone operations"

Filipe Manana c3893c2dc6 btrfs: test direct IO write against raid5/6 filesystems
Test that a direct IO write works against raid5/6 filesystems and that
after the write operation we are able to read back the correct data
and scrub operations don't find any errors.

This test is motivated by a regression introduced in the merge window
for the 4.13 linux kernel, which was undetected by the current set of
test cases. The issue is fixed by the following patch:

Filipe Manana 97843b0910 btrfs: test incremental send after replacing directory with a file
Test that an incremental send/receive operation works correctly after
moving some directory inode A, renaming a regular file inode B into the
old name of inode A and finally creating a new hard link for inode B at
directory inode A.

Jeff Layton 5d599421de btrfs: make a btrfs version of writeback error reporting test
For btrfs, we can test how it reports data writeback errors on fsync by
implementing a suggestion from Chris Mason:

Build a filesystem with 2 devices that stripes the data across
both devices, but mirrors metadata across both. Then, make one
of the devices fail and test what it does.

Filipe Manana 31e424c4aa btrfs: incremental send after renaming a file and a directory
Test that an incremental send works if we rename some directory inode A
and then rename some file inode B to the name inode A had, for the case
where the directory inode A is an ancestor of inode B in the parent
snapshot.

Omar Sandoval ff1f614f33 btrfs: test Btrfs delalloc accounting overflow
This is a regression test for patch "Btrfs: fix delalloc accounting
leak caused by u32 overflow". It creates a bunch of delalloc extents
and merges them together to make sure the accounting is done right.

Liu Bo aaf96798d8 btrfs: regression test for nocsum buffered read's repair
This is to test whether buffered read retry-repair code is able to
work in raid1 case as expected.

Please note that without checksum, btrfs doesn't know if the data
used to repair is correct, so repair is more of resync which makes
sure that both of the copy has the same content.

Commit 20a7db8ab3f2 ("btrfs: add dummy callback for
readpage_io_failed and drop checks") introduced the regression.

The upstream fix is commit 9d0d1c8b1c9d ("Btrfs: bring back repair
during read")

fault' error.

David Sterba df8c7225ba btrfs: reorder arguments so that options come first
The option parser in the btrfs utility is going to be updated and
will accept arguments in a stricter form, namely that options must
come before their non-option argument. Otherwise eg. the -f option
in send would be understood as another path and not an option
leading to many test failures.

The canonical form should be:

  btrfs command subcommand [-options] [arguments]

Goldwyn Rodrigues c26958bc5d btrfs/139: creation/deletion within qgroup limits
If we create and delete files within the qgroup limits, qg->reserved
(allocations before commits) over-inflates and causes -EDQUOT to be
returned pre-maturely.

Also, 32/64bit data-type exchanges can cause reserved (u64) to go
negative (very large) and -EDQUOT is returned pre-maturely.

Will be fixed by patches with subjects:
btrfs: Retry after commit on getting EDQUOT
btrfs: Change qgroup_meta_rsv to 64bit

Filipe Manana c8abfdd930 btrfs: send/receive with sparse files
Test that both a full and incremental btrfs send operation preserves
file holes.

This used to fail when the filesystem had the NO_HOLES feature enabled,
that is, when the test is run with MKFS_OPTIONS="-O no-holes".

This is fixed by the following patch for the linux kernel:

Anand Jain 96459fb687 fstests: btrfs: Use compressible data
/dev/urandom is incompressible and, /dev/zero is highly compressible,
so both are less effective in testing the compress code logic in btrfs.

This patch introduces a text data generator
 cat /dev/urandom | od
to populate the files where /dev/urandom is currently being used in the
btrfs test cases.

And updates the _populate_fs() with a new option -c, so to instruct
to use the compressible data to populate the file(s).
