Eryu Guan 69eb6281a9 fstests: _fail test by default when _scratch_mount fails
Previously _scratch_mount didn't check the mount status and most
tests continue to run even if the mount failed (unless test checks
for the mount status explicitly). This would result in running tests
on the underlying filesystem (usually rootfs) and implicit test
failures, and such failures can be annoying and are usually hard to
debug.

Now _fail test by default if _scratch_mount failed and introduce
_try_scratch_mount for tests that need to check mount results
themselves.

Nikolay Borisov 7b6729e9ab generic/019: Silence possible kill failure
When the filesystem is force-killed in generic/019 and fsstress is
compiled with DEBUG then it's possible for check_cwd() to fail. In
this case fsstress would just die and invoking kill on its pid would
produce an error to the output file:

	+./tests/generic/019: line 157: kill: (32750) - No such process

Fix this possibility by ignoring the result of the output command,
this won't affect the test coverage.

Theodore Ts'o 56ff01f471 xfstests: remove _need_to_be_root
The check script requires that it be run as root, so adding
individualized checks for this in each teat is not needed.

Eric Sandeen 27d077ec0b common: use mount/umount helpers everywhere
Replace every explicit mount/umount of scratch or test devices with
helper functions. This allows the next patch to add in hooks to these
functions in order to set up & tear down overlayfs on every mount/umount

(also adds _test_unmount(), which didn't exist prior)

[Eryu Guan rebased the patch agains latest master and replaced more
mount/umount with helpers]

Eryu Guan 6733157f0f fstests: remove $seqres.full before tests run
Some tests append logs to $seqres.full and never remove the log, which
keeps the log file growing. Remove $seqres.full before test in
following tests:

   ext4/271
   generic/019
   generic/269
   generic/270

Matthew Wilcox 78bbab93d8 config: Fix sysfs paths for partitions
generic/019 was failing with:

./tests/generic/019: line 65: /sys/block/pmem0p2/make-it-fail: No such file or directory

When using a partition, the file needed is located at
/sys/block/pmem0/pmem0p2/make-it-fail.

Rather than attempt to deduce whether a block device is a partition
or not, use the symlinks located in /sys/dev/block/ to find the right
location for the make-it-fail file.

Also change btrfs/088 to use the new _sysfs_dev function.

Lukas Czerner ab1d756fe1 common: Check the file system consistency on SCRATCH_DEV
There are about 198 tests which requires scratch_dev, but does not check
the file system consistency afterwards. Xfstests infrastructure does not
do it automatically, so fix it by running _check_scratch_fs() after
each test that _require_scratch.

Also remove all the _check_scratch_fs() calls that are not actually needed
and will be covered by the check script.

Eryu Guan ec08236ff7 common: new function to get real device path name and basename
If TEST_DEV or SCRATCH_DEV is symlink(mostly a lvm lv), a simple

This task is common enough, so introduce new helper functions and
replace all readlink calls in

There are couple of tests in shared directory which really should be
made generic, so move it. It is mostly collapse range tests, which
