Ira Weiny f91931a1a6 common/locktest: Add common locktest functions
Move common test functions to common directory and call them from the
lock test. This is in preparation for adding a separate lease test.

Ira Weiny 4d0f2152e5 src/locktest: Audit all debug output
Audit all the debug output to be clear on what failed so that we can
remove the debug flag from the script.

Specifically, remove the need for a debug flag on system call error
output. This helps to indicate what happened when an individual test
step fails.

Ira Weiny 450873c962 generic/131: Save stderr for debugging
Details of which internal step failed within a test are lost without
additional debugging output. Save that output by separating stdout and
stderr.

This allows the server port to be written solely to stdout for
consumption by the script. Then all error output can be sent to the
seqres.full file in the event of a failure. Then, depend on the return
code of the server _and_ the client to detect failure and save the error
output for inspection.

zhangxiaoxu 00467499 2caa208e3a generic/131: Create server.out manually.
When test generic/131 on nfs, the 'server.out' maybe create
later than expect. Because the server is running on background,
we should ensure the 'server.out' is exist before 'cat' it.

So, let's create the server.out manually.

Hou Tao e18876187c generic/131: wait until the server is ready or timeout
When running xfstests under KVM VM and the load of host is high,
only delaying 1s and checking the readiness of server are not
enough, and the test case will fail early.

Fix it by repeatedly checking the readiness signal until it's found,
or timeout is triggered.

Pavel Shilovsky beb211475b cifs: skip tests that need POSIX support for nounix mounts
CIFS/SMB protocol without POSIX extensions doesn't support operations
with symbolic links and advisory byte-range locks from the same process.

Lukas Czerner 83ef157def common: Check fs consistency on TEST_DEV only when needed
Currently we're checking file system consistency on TEST_DEV after every
successful test run even though the TEST_DEV might not even be used in
that test.

Fix it by introducing _require_test to for the test ti indicate that
it's about to use TEST_DEV.

Also add _require_test to the new script so that this requirement is a
default.

Christoph Hellwig c041421687 xfstests: stop special casing nfs and udf
For historical reasons beyond my knowledge xfstests tries to abuse the
scratch device as test device for nfs and udf. Because not all test
have inherited the right usage of the _setup_testdir and _cleanup_testdir
helpers this leads to lots of unessecary test failures.

Remove the special casing, which gets nfs down to a minimal number of
failures.

Dave Chinner 627427bb1b xfstests: fix broken redirects in generic/131
generic/131 attempts to kill processes that may no longer exist when
the test finishes and has a broken redirect for the error messages
and they end up in a file named "1" in the xfstests root instead of
/dev/null.

Not only that, the attempts to redirect stderr to stdout in the
middle of the test use incorrect redirect syntax, so they create an
empty file named "1" in the xfstests root...

IOWs, all the redirects in the test are broken. Fix them and clean
up the failure case to use the exit trap to trigger the cleanup
function....

Dave Chinner 1d5d46db80 xfstests: convert tests to use new results directory
Essentially the change is simply this. Converting:

... >> $seq.????

to:

.... >> $RESULT_DIR/$seq.????

so that output files are directed to the defined output directory.

sed to the rescue:

$ sed -i -e '/^seq=.*$/a seqres=$RESULT_DIR/$seq' -e 's/seq.full/seqres.full/' tests/*/*

will do most of the work automatically.
