Xiao Yang 22b17d9e4f common/rc: factor out _ext4_disable_extent_zeroout() helper
1) This pattern is repeated in several seek_data/hole tests
   (e.g. generic/285, generic/436, generic/445 generic/448)
   and generic/009.  A common _ext4_disable_extent_zeroout()
   helper could be added and applied by generic/009 and
   _require_seek_data_hole().

2) On some old kernels(e.g. v3.1-v3.6), when vfs recognizes
   SEEK_DATA/HOLE flag && ext4 has no extent zeroout tunable
   in sysfs, these cases may trigger "sysfs entry not found"
   issue. We can add check if extent_max_zeroout_kb exists
   on ext4 filesystem.
   The extent_max_zeroout_kb is introduced by:
   '67a5da564f97 ("ext4: make the zero-out chunk size tunable")'

3) Declare several vars as local in _require_seek_data_hole().

Darrick J. Wong d43f8034c5 common: create _require_test_program to look for programs in src/
Create a helper that looks for a test program in src/ and fails the
test if it doesn't exist. Refactor the existing testcases to use it.

Lukas Czerner 83ef157def common: Check fs consistency on TEST_DEV only when needed
Currently we're checking file system consistency on TEST_DEV after every
successful test run even though the TEST_DEV might not even be used in
that test.

Fix it by introducing _require_test to for the test ti indicate that
it's about to use TEST_DEV.

Also add _require_test to the new script so that this requirement is a
default.

Eryu Guan ec08236ff7 common: new function to get real device path name and basename
If TEST_DEV or SCRATCH_DEV is symlink(mostly a lvm lv), a simple
basename is not enough, symlink should be followed.

This task is common enough, so introduce new helper functions and
replace all readlink calls in

Jan Kara ce9d1cdd61 xfstests 285: Fix test for ext4 in some configurations
In some configurations (e.g. 1 KB block size), ext4 can decide it is
better to zero out several blocks rather than splitting unwritten
extent. This changes results SEEK_HOLE / SEEK_DATA returns and thus the
test fails. Fix the problem by disabling the feature for this test.

Zheng Liu fbf6e863cc xfstests: change test case file mode to 0755
Now in tests/ there are some test cases whose mode is 0644. But they
should be 0755. So fix it.

Zheng Liu 92449b7f36 In xfstest 285/286 we don't check whether the target file system
supports seek data/hole operation or not. Here _require_seek_data_hole
is defined to do this work.

Dave Chinner 8c4905a42e xfstests: introduce a common directory
Introduce a top level common directory and move all the common.*
files into it. Because there is now a directory named common, the
prefix can be dropped from all the files. Convert all the tests to
use this new directory for including common files.

for f in common.*; do \
	git mv `echo -n "$f " ; echo $f | sed -e 's;n\.;n/;'` \

Dave Chinner 1d5d46db80 xfstests: convert tests to use new results directory
Essentially the change is simply this. Converting:

... >> $seq.????

to:

.... >> $RESULT_DIR/$seq.????

so that output files are directed to the defined output directory.

sed to the rescue:

$ sed -i -e '/^seq=.*$/a seqres=$RESULT_DIR/$seq' -e 's/seq.full/seqres.full/' tests/*/*

will do most of the work automatically.
