The right-hand side of a top-level package renaming actually doesn't always correspond to the exact name of the unit that holds the designated package. Thus, this commit partially reverts the previous change so as to first resolve the designated package. Only in case the resolution fails does it retry using the name on the right-hand side, so as to emit a clear error event.
