a40d573664 #3720: Interpreter crashes when an evil iterator removes its own next function.
Now the slot is filled with a function that always raises.

Will not backport: extensions compiled with 2.6.x would not run on 2.6.0.

41fbae1ac9 Oops. Need to check not only that HAVE_DECL_ISINF is defined, but also
that it's equal to 1. (If isinf isn't defined, HAVE_DECL_ISINF is
defined to be 0, rather than being undefined.)

d181e3a246 isinf and isnan are macros, not functions; fix configure script
to use AC_CHECK_DECLS instead of AC_CHECK_FUNCS for these.

0668c62677 Issue #2534: speed up isinstance() and issubclass() by 50-70%, so as to
match Python 2.5 speed despite the __instancecheck__ / __subclasscheck__
mechanism. In the process, fix a bug where isinstance() and issubclass(),
when given a tuple of classes as second argument, were looking up
__instancecheck__ / __subclasscheck__ on the tuple rather than on each
type object.
