Antoine Pitrou	e4a189274f	Issue #9804: ascii() now always represents unicode surrogate pairs as ... a single `\UXXXXXXXX`, regardless of whether the character is printable or not. Christian Heimes	6a27efa2d3	Issue 3723: Fixed initialization of subinterpreters ... The patch fixes several issues with Py_NewInterpreter as well as the demo for multiple subinterpreters. Guido van Rossum	98297ee781	Merging the py3k-pep3137 branch back into the py3k branch. ... No detailed change log; just check out the change log for the py3k-pep3137 branch. The most obvious changes: - str8 renamed to bytes (PyString at the C level); - bytes renamed to buffer (PyBytes at the C level); - PyString and PyUnicode are no longer compatible. I.e. we now have an immutable bytes type and a mutable bytes type. The behavior of PyString was modified quite a bit, to make it more bytes-like. Walter Dörwald	573c08c1b7	Change PyErr_Format() to generate a unicode string (by using ... PyUnicode_FromFormatV() instead of PyString_FromFormatV()).
