0a8f43e85a #11754: test contents of string module attributes. 
As noted in the comment, while the order of the items in the attributes is not
technically guaranteed, after all this time there is almost certainly user
code out there that relies on it, so we might as well test for it.

38c707e7e0 Issue #21741: Update 147 test modules to use test discovery. 
I have compared output between pre- and post-patch runs of these tests
to make sure there's nothing missing and nothing broken, on both
Windows and Linux.  The only differences I found were actually tests
that were previously *not* run.

b876df4cbb Issue #23671: string.Template now allows to specify the "self" parameter as 
keyword argument.  string.Formatter now allows to specify the "self" and
the "format_string" parameters as keyword arguments.

abc387747d Add bytes/bytearray.maketrans() to mirror str.maketrans(), and deprecate 
string.maketrans() which actually works on bytes.  (Also closes #5675.)

7f13e6b3e2 string.maketrans() now produces translation tables for bytes.translate() -- wrong module? 
Fix all remaining instances that did bad things with the new str.translate().
